Chapter 1
"OOOOWWW!!" Bridgette hollered after slipping off the verandah of her cabin. "Who did this?!" Bridgette shouted waking everyone up.
"What is it, Bridge…?" Courtney tried to question only to slip and fall the same way Bridgette did, "Ouch! What was that?"
Bridgette took a closer look to see that the verandah had been greased down, "Someone smeared something slippery on the verandah so that we would fall if we came out!"
By this time the guys had already shown up on the scene, "What happ…" The guys were shocked when they looked up to a very peculiar sight.
Courtney soon noticed all of the guys enticed by something on the roof. She walked over a bit to have a look and was shock dead to see Bridgette's and hers underwear dangling from the roof, "Alright… who's responsible for this?" Courtney shouted angrily. Stomping to the back of the group of the guys, she assumed a very assertive and aggressive stance: her arms crossed high, her legs slightly separated and her knees locked.
The laughter of a specific delinquent rang through Courtney's ears, which caused her nose to scrunch up, "Calm down, Princess. I'm sure it was just a joke."
"I'm sure you would know that!" She said showing that she was still angry.
"What? Are you suggesting something?"
"Only the guilty would ask." She whispered venomously.
"No… only the guilty and the innocent who's bein' accused!"
"True and we all know which one you are!" She shouted getting in his face.
"You know Courtney; you really don't have any proof." Dj intruded on the argument.
"Then again… He wasn't in the room last night. I got up late last night to see if he wanted to mess with Harold but he was gone. I just thought he had some 'business' to take care of." Geoff added.
"Come to think of it last night heard something creeping around outside last night. I thought it was an animal so I didn't pay any attention to it."
"There! I think that that's evidence enough to prove it was you!" Courtney added up quickly and blurted out. Almost automatically she got a victorious stance, "So… where were you last night Duncan?"
"Yeah, where were you?" Bridgette interrogated.
"…" Duncan had nothing to say as his defense except, "I didn't do it." He said crossing his arm and putting an 'I do not care' expression.
"If you didn't do it then where were you last night?" Courtney continued the pressure.
"I was doing stuff."
"That not a very good excuse." Bridgette exclaimed.
"I hate to say it, bro but she's right. That's not a very good excuse." Geoff said.
"…Whatever! You guys can believe what you want to believe. I'm out of here!" Duncan then walked off into the woods alone.
"Maybe he didn't do." Dj thought out loud.
"Oh please. The night all the girl's underwear disappears and the deck of the cabin get smeared with… only he knows, just happens to be the same night he disappears; and his only excuse is that he was out 'doing stuff'!" Courtney defended his guilt.
"Whoa! Chill Courtney…, besides I thought that you liked him." Geoff blurted.
"I do not like him!" Courtney shouted.
Chris (On the P.A system): "Attention campers! The next challenge is about to begin. Please report to the cafeteria for your briefing on the challenge. That is all."
Courtney then stormed off to the cafeteria, "Dude, if I were you I'd watch my back cause she seemed extra pissed about that." Dj explained causing Geoff's shiver a bit of fear. They all then headed towards the cafeteria.
"Killer Bass… you're short one 'happy' camper." Chris brought to awareness.
"I guess Duncan didn't feel like showing up." Bridgette said.
"Good riddance!" Courtney grumbled with crossed arms.
"Hmm… oh well, his loss!" Chris said with his usually sadistic grin, "Today campers you will be…"
Duncan
Duncan relocated from the woods to the dock of shame, "I am so out of here!" Duncan said thinking that since he did not participate then if the Killer Bass lost then they would unanimously vote him off, "And to think I got up just to go find some wood to make this for her." He said looking down at a skull carved from wood, "Whatever, it's still cool! I'm going to keep this baby." He chuckled and stuck it in his pocket in a wicked manner (A/N did I just make him steal from himself -).
He pulled it back out. He sighed and lay back a little depressed, "It's always the same, no matter where I go." He whispered.
Back at the Challenge
"Oh man Killer Bass; what happened?" Chris asked trying to conceal his snickering, "You guys got completely wiped out. I mean you were destroyed."
"…" No one from the now battered and bruised Bass had any words to justify their complete and utter defeat by the Gophers.
"Well I guess that's enough rubbing it in." Chris proclaimed with one last snicker, "You guys go get cleaned up and clear you minds on who you're going to be voting off tonight. Oh and Bass here's a little present for you." Suddenly, an eighteen inch flat screen television magically lowered down from the sky.
"Okay now that's just weird." Dj pointed out.
It turned on and showed an overview of the female Killer Bass cabin. It was plain for a short while then Harold came out of no where and snuck in. A few minutes later he came running out holding a pile of panties but suddenly, while running, he tripped over a pebble and went flying: he hit a tree and began rolling backwards towards the girls' cabin. Then he rolled up a rock and the pile of panties he was still holding flew out of his hands and was spread out all over the roof. He stood up and for a second frantically looked around for the pile.
When he realized he was not going to find he shrugged and ran off, only to return a little later with a container of kitchen grease which he spread all over the verandah of the cabin. He ran off and the video came to a static ending.
"Idiots…" Harold grunted to himself.
"So it was Harold!" Bridgette said a little shocked.
"I really didn't see that coming." Dj commented.
"At first we were going to let you off with it but when you got the grease you went too far." Chris said with a serious tone, "Chef Hatchet loves his grease and when he saw it go to waste like that, he completely freaky." Chris was still serious. Then he turned to a camera, "That and I knew if I brought this out the girls' reaction would have been completely hilarious.
When the camera cut back to full view of everyone, all of the remaining Killer Bass girls were surrounding Harold, "Uh oh." A grey cloud appeared around Harold as the girls ganged him.
Chris slipped in front of the camera, "What'd I tell? Hilarious…" Chris mentioned before turning his back to the camera to laugh as he watched the fight, rather the slaughter of one.
"Whoa… that was a pretty funny prank but I don't think he was ready for the consequences." Geoff whispered to Dj.
"I think you're right. I think we should get out of here before our clothes get stained with blood."
"I'm right behind you bro." The two walked off taking a few glances back at the slaughter.
"At least now Duncan's off the chain." Geoff said loud enough for Courtney to hear.
As soon as she heard him say that she released a chuck of Harold's hair and began thinking.
Later that Night At The Marshmallow Ceremony
"Campers, you're still missing one." Chris said.
"Umm…" Courtney stood up, "I'll go get him." She ran off to search for Duncan.
"She so wants him." Geoff proclaimed out loud.
"I don't know why she always denies it?" Bridgette said.
Courtney looked all over and soon found Duncan sitting at the docks. She approached him as quietly as she could, "Go away!" Duncan was super sensitive so no one could sneak up on him, with the exception of professional ninjas. Duncan soon shot up ready to bash in the face of whoever did not head his words. Then he saw that it was Courtney, "Oh just you, Courtney. What, you come here to let me know that I'm getting' kicked off the show?"
She took a seat next to him, "Umm… I'm sorry."
"Sorry about what?"
"About uhh… accusing you. We found out that it was actually Harold." Courtney said in a defeated manner, looking down at her lap.
"Ehh… I don't really care. Things like that happen to me all the time back home so I'm used to it."
"Well… maybe if you started following the rules then it wouldn't happen."
"Yeah… maybe." He said sarcastically while looking at the dark, star-raided sky.
"You don't plan on taking my advice, do you?" Courtney turned to him.
"…It's like I said… I'm used to it."
"If you came to get on me like this, then it's my turn. Why do you act like you're Mrs. goody-goody, always following the rules and doing whatever you're told?"
"So that I don't' get in trouble and so that people won't always blame me for what others do!" Courtney was now really defensive.
"You know that's your problem. You care too much for what people think about you; always trying to look good in the eyes of other people."
"…" Courtney was shocked at this realization
"Speechless I see."
She soon came back, "Well, what about you?" She retaliated.
He grunted and smirked, "What about me? I'm pretty straight forward."
"Yeah right; you and I both know that this tough guy act is just a charade!"
"What are you talking about? I act like a tough guy because I am tough!" Duncan, now on the defensive, shouted, "And you know it." He threw an angry facial expression at her.
"…" She simply smiled at him; her body language clearly saying 'I win'.
Duncan sighed and calmed down, "Well I know that I'm not a nice guy."
"So… what were you doing last night, that's if you don't mind me asking?"
"Actually, I do mind."
"So sorry I asked."
"Well then why is it that you hate me so much?"
"It's not that I hate you. It's…"
"Okay then, why do you always act like you hate me, when you actually like me so much?"
"…" She crossed her arms and looked away, "I do not like you… at all!"
"Yeah you keep telling yourself that, Courtney."
She soon lowered her guard, "Umm… I was just wondering… why'd you stop calling me Princess?"
"Why Princess, I thought you would never notice. So that must mean you really do like me." Duncan said smoothly.
"NO… I don't." She sprang to her feet and began walking off with her arms crossed.
Before she got too far Duncan froze her, "It's always an act, isn't it?" Duncan took his eyes off her and leaned back on his elbows. Courtney stood quiet for a second before turning around and slowly walking back to him. She took a seat, this time much, much closer to Duncan. She also rested her head on his chest, "You feeling okay, Princess?"
"Maybe… we should both just… cut the act." She raised her head to stare Duncan in his eyes. Courtney slowly leaned in and pressed her lips against his. As soon as their lips touch Courtney gasped and pulled away, "Oh my gosh… what am I doing?" She began panicking.
"Hey…" Duncan calmed her by raising a finger to her chin to make her face him, "You're just being you."
"Yeah well who's that? Please elaborate for me." She was calm but still a little freaked out.
"You're being Courtney… my princess, a girl that's crazy about me." She smiled and blushed a little, "So Princess, are you finally ready to admit it?"
"What?"
He rolled his eyes, "You like me, right?"
"Of course not." She said calmly then rested her upper body on his. Duncan rested his hand on her hip and she only snuggled closer to him. She soon looked up and they kissed again, this time much more passionately (A/N and I think there was a little lip action).
Back at the Marshmallow Ceremony
"Ooookay… I think we've wait long enough." Chris said, obviously annoyed, "It's me who makes people wait, not the other way around. Harold, it's the dock of shame for you. The rest of you, if you see Courtney and Duncan tell them… they're going to pay…" Chris said manically before disappearing into midair.
"I take calling the TV thing back, that was really weird." Dj said.
"We second that." Everyone else said in unison.
Harold had his stuff packed and was walking to the boat of losers when suddenly… right when he was at the end he heard a familiar voice, "Hey Harold." Harold looked back to see Duncan cracking his knuckles, "I just showed up to wish you good luck on your trip back home."
"What do you mean good luck?"
"Maybe you'll survive… maybe you won't." Duncan approached Harold then proceeds to beat the hell out of him. After the beating Duncan tossed Harold into the boat and it set off, "That's was for trying to frame me and messing with my girl." Duncan then looked down at Harold's suitcase. He shrugged and kicked it into the water and went back to his cabin.
