Summary: This is an AU SLASH fic. X-over with Buffy. Timeline is Season 4 for Buffy before Spike gets captured by the Initiative and I am seriously messing with it. Oz has left, Willow has not met Tara, there is no Anya but Buffy and co. know all about the Initiative and Riley and do not like any of it. Riley and co know all about Buffy as well. Meanwhile the Olympic Pantheon has decided that with Strife's rebirth, they should be reborn also. They decide to present themselves to the mortal world, with Strife going first. And where else would they do this but in Sunnydale, CA?

Story is told in alternating viewpoints.

Cast: Olympic Pantheon

Zeus: God of the Sky, King of the Gods, married to Hera (not that you'd ever know it)

Hera: Goddess of Marriage and Childbirth, Queen of the Gods, married to Zeus

Ares: God of War and Heir to the Olympic Pantheon

Eris: Goddess of Discord, sister to Ares, mother to Strife

Strife: God of Mischief. Killed by dagger coated in Hinds Blood, which is fatal to gods. Mother, Eris, father unknown, uncle Ares

Cupid: God of Love, mother Aphrodite, father Ares. Was married to Psyche, Goddess of the Mind who is not in this story.

Athena: Goddess of Wisdom and War, she is more of the strategy while Ares is more of the actual fighting.

Bliss: God of Happiness, Cupid and Psyche's son

Deimos: God of Pain, son of Aphrodite and Ares, twin brother is Phobos

Phobos: God of Fear, son of Aphrodite and Ares, twin brother is Deimos

Hecate: Goddess of Witchcraft

Hades: God of the Underworld

Cast: Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Buffy: the current Slayer

Giles: Her Watcher, mentor

Willow: fledgling witch, computer hacker, shy, best friends with Buffy and Xander

Xander: known as the Zeppo, always willing to help but has no special abilities other than his loyalty

Spike: a vampire that is one of Buffy's arch-rivals. Sired by Angelus and Drusilla he is over 100 years old and has killed two Slayers.

Tara: High Priestess of Hecate and Willow's teacher

The Initiative: a secret government operation that captures demons (called hostiles) for an unknown purpose

Graham: member of the Initiative

Riley: member of the Initiative with a huge crush on Buffy

Professor Walsh: Leader of the Initiative also the Psychology teacher at UC Sunnydale.

ADAM: top secret project only Professor Walsh knew about as she created him
