It was just another day. The sun rose, the sun set. But in life one moment can change one life forever. Luna new she was just being silly. Well, that's what she said when she suddenly started crying at Hogwarts. Looney Lovegood indeed. The rest of the day past as usual. And it all just came flooding back
"Luna! Luna! Come and watch this."
Luna finished her pumpkin juice greedily and leapt outside where he father and her mother was waiting. A swirl of mist and magic filled the garden and both Lovegoods had their wands raised.
"Luna. If we get this right, a new branch of magic will open itself out. Mainology. The ability to learn how to cast magic without a wand. Endless opportunities."
Luna was proud of her parents. They were so clever and devoted to their work. But yet the best parents she could have ever have hoped for. She put her hand in the pocket of her dungarees and sat on the fence.
"Xeno, slow down. It is a slow process."
"Okay, okay."
"We have ages yet. Let's take our time."
"We are so close. To riches we can not imagine. Fame we can not comprehend."
"You're going to fast."
"We can't go wrong; we have researched this for so long."
"Seriously slow down."
The mist grew pale and dark.
"Xeno! Stop!"
The mist started to bulge and grow. Luna saw the look on her mothers face narrow. Her father eyes were glazed over and focused. Suddenly the mist imploded and Luna's mother threw her husband to the side and took the full force of the blast. Her bones broke like twigs as she was thrown in the air where she landed in front of Luna. Everything fell silent. Luna's father screamed crazily "What have I done?" Luna saw the horror in her mother's eyes and her mangled limbs. All she could do was scream.
"Luna. Why are you screaming?" asked Flitwick.
The whole class was looking at her.
"I'm just being silly."
