A/N: OMG, I am SO glad this show is back. And this episode was freaking amazing. Bless.

Everything is in crisis, Donna reminds herself. Nothing is certain, and nothing is safe.

(But he smiled. He smiled, when she told him she would be his again.)

Donna wraps the warmth of that smile around herself, around her soul. The stars are falling and blood has been in the water a long time. But Harvey can do anything. She has always, always believed that.

(Maybe that's why she's still here, after Scotty, after everyone else. Maybe that's why she's coming back.)

(Even Louis knew.)

Donna knows the war is far from over and they barely have a battle to their names. She imagines how Jessica must be feeling, holding tight to her weapon-like smile even with her back to the wall. She imagines how Rachel's heart must be breaking over and over again, how Mike must be nearly out of his mind.

How Harvey…

Harvey. He's always so much more alone than he needs to be, and that's why he needs her.

She whispers, Oh Harvey, before she goes to sleep that night, and wonders how it's even possible to love a person as much as she loves him.
