You don't know my name

Raven Roth watched from her locker as Richard Grayson opened his, just three lockers away from her. She attempted to be sneaky about her awkward little glances, but it wasn't working, and she couldn't help but stare.

You dont know anything about me

She knew right then, she had just fallen even harder for Richard, and she hated herself all the more for letting herself do just that. She knew where she stood next to him, and thats nowhere. He was the schools hero, the quarterback, and (suprisingly) one of the smartest kids in the school. While, she, she was Raven, the "emo, goth, rude, depressed , snappy chick who's obsessed with art" well, atleast thats how others described her.

And you've been all wrong,

But she wasn't that. Not at all, but that is how those testosterone, hormone filled teens thought of her, and that is what they forced her Richard into believing too, not that he could pick her out of the crowd anyway.

Not who you think I am

You've never given me a chance

Not that he would even want to try to pick her out of a crowd.

You don't know how it feels to be outside the crowd

You don't know what its like to be left out

Now, dont get me wrong, Richard was sweet, he was kind, and handsome, but he just didn't know what it was like to be like Raven, so he didn't want to know what it was like, or know her. He wasn't alone.

And still, as all these thoughts ran through Ravens head, she watched Richard. He toyed around with his cell phone, and then gingerly placed it in his back pack. The bell rang, signaling it was time for second period to begin, he glanced at his watch, and fumbled with the zipper on his backpack, and his lock. And as he settled his lock on his locker, just as Raven had found the guts to go walk up to him, attempt to start a convorsation,

Oh, Im tired of staying at home

I'm bored and all alone

I'm sick of wasting all my time

She arrived at his locker just in time...

Just in time for his little perfect girlfriend Kori to bound in ruthlessly, and ask him if he was ready to go to class. She asked him so sweetly, Raven basically gagged, but the sad part was, neither of them noticed Raven, and then they walked away, holding hands, and chatting away about what they'd do tonight, and what homework was for french class.

"And, alas, that would be the tales of A loner in love." Raven quietly murmeres to her self, as she turned her head and saw Gar bouncing toward her. " Oh, crap." she said as she began to run. " Raaaaveeeennn!" Gar screeched, as he ran after her. " Come back to your best friend!" "Your not my best friend, I try not to know you!" she hollered.
