Her brief encounter with him during the Chuunin Exam was nothing compared to this. She had improved and wasn't that far behind him any more. They were almost matched, ninjutsu for ninjutsu, taijutsu for taijutsu, snake for snake. The battlefield was lit only by the moon, the stars, and the remnants of a previous fire technique. Then, there! She smirked as her snake trapped him! And with sudden clarity, she knew what she had to do. She knew that he was too strong for the jutsu to work as intended, but it would be a strike against him, and that was all that mattered. She wasn't the only shinobi in his path to Konoha.
"Are you going to kill me?" came is slithery voice. "Can you really find it in your heart to kill your sensei?" His voice stabbed through her musings.
"No, I don't think you'll be dying here, bastard. You know as well as I that I can't kill you." A feral grin spread across her face. She was going to be the one to hurt him this time. "But I sure can make it easier for others."
His eyes widened as he realized what she was going to do. She grin grew as she grasped his hand and formed the necessary seal. "Sojasosai no Jutsu!"
The snakes shot our from her sleeves and sunk their teeth into their wrists. She let out a laughing breath as he stared at the fangs in his wrist and the blood from his wound. With her last breath, she said, "Gotcha sensei."
Mitarashi Anko died by her own hand, with a satisfied smile on her face. Orochimaru died at the hands of his former teammates, cursing her for weakening him until he was no more.
