I am in restlessness as I face my fate
I am ready to gaze into the Looking Glass
I only hope the Image I see isn't hate
but rather clean and pure as the green, green Grass
I slip into a fall, though the Mirror I go
Dazed and confused, totally aloof
Where I am, I may never know
I only see a rabbit in a suit
I follow him here and there
He takes me everywhere.
He runs again all around
these Wonders everywhere abound
I am invited to some tea
With a Hatter, whose mad, you see
He tips his hat and says he's a friend
only time will tell his true self in the end
After a while I grow sleepy and tired
I feel a pull to go away
Hatter hands me a tea that says Inspire
I close my eyes, the image of him fades away.
I awaken in my own world
Blinded by the bright fluorescent lights
it's done and over my mind a swirl
But my memory of him alights
