Annabeth's POV:
As usual, Percy came to breakfast at ten. He scraped some offerings into the fire and moved his lips. Then, he plopped down at his table and started to scarf down food. I walked over and said, "Hey Percy. Up late again?"
"Yeah. So, Annabeth… I was wondering since we're going to have that dance to celebrate the beginning of the summer if you wanted to be my date?"
OH MY GODS! I CANT BELIEVE HE JUST ASKED ME OUT! Thalia was giving me a look that said, well-answer-him. I then said, "Yeah! I'd love to!" I reached over and gave Percy a bear hug.
"Ok. I'll pick you up at 7 tonight?" Percy said.
"Sure." I said. I then walked over back to my table with my sisters and brothers, but all I could think about was that dance tomorrow. Me with Percy all night! I'd better barrow a dress from the Aphrodite cabin.
Percy's POV:
Tonight was the dance! And I was going with the most beautiful girl ever! Tonight is going to be great! I got to Annabeth's cabin at exactly 7. I was about to knock on the door when Annabeth walked out. She wore a baby blue dress while I wore a baby blue tie and a tux like they said to wear when they announced we were having this dance. She said, "You look nice."
"Thanks." I said blushing furiously. Then we started walking towards the dance. Tonight was going to be interesting…
