A dirty blonde girl fell onto her knees, collapsing into tears. The dark clouds above began to let go of all of the rain they were holding. The girl didn't budge from her spot despite the rain. Stupid, stupid, STUPID, she thought to herself. Her hair and clothes were beginning to soak as she continued to cry. She heard footsteps coming behind her and stiffened, realizing who is was from the person's voice. "Patricia… I'm sorry…" the voice said. Patricia turned around to see a boy with a bit more blonde in his hair than she did and crystal blue eyes. He wore blue, white, and red, the blood stains mixing in with his soaked clothes. "Shut up, Alfred… You know I started this…"
"No, you didn't, Patty. I chose to run away from Arthur…"
"It's my damn fault, Al!" Patricia screamed. More tears burst out of her eyes. Out of the blue, Alfred held his hand out. Patricia looked at his hand, confused. "Come with me, we can be free together," he said. Patricia and Alfred locked eyes for several moments. Patricia's turquoise eyes with clouded with sorrow and confusion, while Alfred's blue eyes were shining in glory, with the tiniest hint of regret. Just as Patricia started to reach her hand for Alfred's, another boy came running towards them. He had cracked glasses and a red and white sweat shirt with jeans. He didn't have any blood on him besides a smudge on his cheek. "D-don't forget about me… I go where ever my brother and sister are going..." the boy said in between pants. Alfred and Patricia smiled and all of them grabbed hands.
"Freedom…" Alfred whispered.
