The bell rings...
"Ne, Echizen!", yelled Horio once again...
"..." was the reply he got, as always.
"You're so lucky that you have a bunch of girls who actually care for you... mumbles on and on" Horio goes on.
"Ah..." Ryoma was never good at words.
"Ohiyo-gozeimas!" the English teacher, Ms.Mizuki, happily stated.
"Ohiyo!" was the students' replies.
"Today we will be starting a new project!" and before she could continue, she heard groans from everyone, "Now, class, do not be like that! You will pick a name out of this hat and you'll be partnered up, the project will be to pretend that you have just gotten into America, so you have to speak English the entire time! Your partner – will be of the opposite gender, will be your husband/wife and you will only talk in English! This will be for a week, and I will assure you that if I hear any Japanese coming from any of you, except during your other classes, you will receive detention!"
"Aww..." everyone sighed except for our little prodigy at English here...
"Che!" this class is so easy! Thought Echizen Ryoma
"Boys only, stand up in a straight line... !" Ms. Mizuki yelled. "Ryoma, you're first..."
All the girls looked excited when he drew the card out of the hat... he was so cute and such a wonderful tennis player. Everyone admired him, and yet he didn't pay attention to any of the young girls. Well... I shouldn't say all the girls had a crush on him, all except Ryuzaki Sakuno. She had a crush on him, since... who knows when?! But now, she knows to just give it up... who cares anymore? She'll never be his 'one' person. (But everyone knows... deep in her heart... she cares for him, more than anything!)
"Ah! Sakuno-chan!" Ms. Mizuki exclaimed.
Yes, Sakuno was the lucky person to get picked for being HIS partner, how lucky! Everyone else wanted to be, yet didn't get to...
Ryoma POV:
Sakuno, eh? Hmm... this is gonna be really easy anyways, so who cares which partner you get? Does it even matter? Well, Sakuno is very well at English, so we'll pass... hopefully. Sakuno's POV:
Ryoma-kun?! Just when I try to get him out of my mind, I get stuck with him for a week?! Kami-sama, onegei help!! But working with Ryoma might be an adventure as well... might as well, enjoy it.
