You slide your hand against soft, white padding on the wall as your eyes once again fill with tears. The room you sit in is only occupied by you in a dimly lit corner. They had put you in here after they found you on on the island. You remember back to the storm that stranded your fishing boat on the shore of the island and how awoke in the sand to the horror of being stuck in the middle of the ocean. Back then you lived in fear of what lurked in the darkness of caves and the night.

You had found many other wrecks on the island, all with the occupants missing only to later find they would surround your home at night, thirsting for blood. You had seen so many wonderful yet terrifying sights while you were stranded. Giant spiders, entire biomes infected by fungus, tall men who stalked the night, to Hell itself. You could tells stories that would make a sailor's sea monster tale seem like a rubber duck in a bathtub. These memories, even if they were filled with pain and fear, were worth remembering of how grand they were. Everything was this way until He showed up.

It was a hot and humid day and you had decided to go scouting for minerals in the cool, underground caves. As you returned you saw something move inside the wooden shack. Running to the door you see nothing inside. Several days later you see a blue clad figure near the cliffs to the south. You are no more than 20 feet from thin when he turns to look at you then dive off the cliff. You rush over to the side to find only waves crash against the sharps rocks below.

You are extremely unnerved by the man's features. He looks exactly like you. To be more exact, how you looks the day you arrived on the island except his eyes. Solid white orbs were dark brown eyes should be placed. your return home only to find a smoldering ruin. You start to see him more and more each day to the point where he is standing over your bed when you wake up in the middle of the night, illuminated by moonlight. You are unable to move but you do notice one thing about these encounters, everything is silent. No crickets, no zombie moans, not even the wind.

You never remember falling asleep again those nights even though you wake up the next morning. When you try to think of what might have happened all you remember is pitch blackness with the combined sound of a waterfall, fire crackling, and wind rustling through leaves. The memories leave you terrified.

Soon, to your delight, you are rescued. You are brought to a hospital and are nurtured back to health. You tell people there the stories of the sights you saw on the island and the stories of the white eyed man. No one believes you and different doctors come to check on your mental health. They determine your have gone insane from the combination of the head trauma your revived on the island and the solitariness. You know they are wrong.

It is soon after you start to see him in the asylum. Sometimes your fear and anger towards him causes you to go into fits of rage and attempt to attack the man no one else can see.

You are now locked in the padded room after attacking and killing a nurse who you could have sworn looked like him. The room is so loud with the combined sounds of a waterfall, fire, and the wind. He stands in the only patch of sunlight shining from the bared window, his right hand outstretched towards you, beckoning you like Death.

You lift your left arm and place your hand in his and lift your self up. The noise has now stopped. Silence fills the air. Everything seems almost at peace though you are afraid. Suddenly he plunges his left hand into your chest right where your heart is then he slowly takes out his arm and in his bloodied hand he holds-

There is no escape from the White Eyed Demon.
