Forbidden Love

This story was written while I was listening to "My Last Breath" by Evanescence (sp?). I made AngelBat cry when she read this. I also made her a little mad. But…here it is…Forbidden Love. Fluffy gets a "little" out of character.

Winter…a time of beauty, peace, and happiness. But…in a dark, snow filled forest an Angel's happiness had been shattered….

"Lita! How could You?" Angel yelled as she glared at the Kitsune who stood next to Sesshomaru. "How dare you! I thought you we're my friend!" Hot tears of hatred streamed down Angels cheeks.

"Angel…Please.." Lita begged "I…I wanted to tell you how I felt about Sesshomaru…but I was afraid of how you would react."

"You were afraid of how I would react! Well now, LITA KITSUNE, it is time for you to DIE!" Angel charged Lita, scythes barred. Sesshomaru moved to protect Lita but Lita stopped him.

"LITA!" Sesshomaru yelled as Lita fell to the ground, her crimson blood poring out onto the cold hard forest floor. He dropped to his knees and held her close. "Lita…Lita hang on…please Lita." Sesshomaru said as he started to cry.

"shhh…" Lita said as she placed a finger on Sesshomaru's lips, "Its ok…don't worry…I'm alright…I'm not afraid…I have you and angel here with me."

"But Lita…she's the one who…" Sesshomaru said.

"Its not her fault. Good-bye sesshomaru. Angel…I'm sorry…I hope…you and sesshomaru will be happy when I'm gone. Good-bye…I'm sorry…" were the lasts words to leave Lita's lips as she sank into that endless slumber.

"What…what have I done….oh lita…LITA!" angel cried. "I'm so sorry...oh Lita I'm sorry!" Sesshomaru got up and walked over to Angel.

"Shhhh…" he said as he wrapped his arms around Angel. "Its alright angel…its alright."

"Don't you hate me?" angel asked.

"I could never hate you" Sesshomaru said. They buried Lita and left.

Angel and Sesshomaru did stay together. But…neither forgot the sacrifice Lita had made that cold winter night. She had sacrificed herself so that Angel and Sesshomaru could live together, in peace…

So how did you like it? I now no longer want fluffy, because of this fic an am content to let angel have him. pulls glass out of nowhere A toast to Angel and Sesshomaru. I hope you life together is a happy one. And Rini…don't trust the "Thing".
