Prologue
"Vlad, stop! Think about what you're doing!"
Vladimir Dracula was furious. He had forgiven Bertrand, given him another chance, and how did he repay him? By betraying him again, undoing all of his hard work with a few words. He should never have forgiven that lying, stinking rat. He was going to correct his mistake now. Vlad entered the training room, with Erin following him. He was greeted with Bertrand happily saying "Vlad! I've found out who the killer is!"
Vlad darkly muttered "So have I..." As he walked towards Bertrand's open arms, Erin grabbed his wrist and pulled him towards her, sending his stake clattering to the floor, and knocking them both over. Before Bertrand could fully register what had happened, he heard Vlad yell: "What was that for Erin!? What is your problem with me!?"
"You were about to kill an innocent person! You never think about what you're doing! You told me you loved me then you ignored what I said and bit me anyway! You betrayed my trust Vlad!" Erin was crying now. Though she may have hated Bertrand in the past (due to his many attempts to kill her) he had saved her from becoming a snack for Adzi, and she found his loyalty to Vlad... Moving, as though she may hate Vlad, such loyalty is hard to find in the vampire world, making Bertrand selfless, in a way, yet Vlad ignores his kindness and accuses him of setting up a meeting between Adzi and Mina, basically causing Adzi's death.
Bertrand had finall managed to comprehend the situation; Vlad had tried to kill him, and he would succeeded if it weren't for Erin. Needless to say, Bertrand was pretty confused. After several moments of shocked silence, Bertrand finally managed to utter "Vlad?"
Author's Note:
Okay, so, as you can probably tell, this is my first fan fiction, so sorry about the quality. I thought I would do a Bertrand x Erin fan fiction because I couldn't find any... Anyway, Sorry about the length, this is only meant to be a short introduction, but don't worry, I'll make the next chapter longer! And please review, I need to know whether to continue or not and if I've made any mistakes.
