"Hey, I've got a question. Do you remember anything that I said right before you fell and hit your head?"

"No, no I don't. Why?"

"No reason. I'll see you over at Phil's."

Jack's P.O.V.

I waited until Kim ran inside Falafel Phil's. I took the bracelet she made me out of my pocket and looked back at where she sat at our usual table inside the restaurant. Putting it on I smirked as I cockily said to myself, "I always knew you had a crush on me Kim." I started to walk towards the famous falafel when I saw her through the window. She was laughing at something Eddie and Jerry were saying. I love her laugh. Her smile always lights up her whole face. She's so cute. Ugh, stupid cute. (A/N: A little Channy reference there!) I shake the thought away. I don't like Kim… do I? I walked in and sat down with my friends trying to forget my previous thoughts.

After we ate our falafel balls and joked about everything that had happened that day, we all walked over to the dojo to grab our stuff before going home. "Hey Jack," Jerry asked, "What made you slip on those bow staffs anyway?" "Well I was running after Kim and … oops." I trailed off once I realized my mistake. Her head shot up from where she was sitting on the bench by the lockers. The icy glair in her eyes told me I was in trouble. "I thought you said you didn't remember?" Kim said as she walked up towards me. I expected more anger in her voice but I was surprised by how much disappointment there was instead. "Well, I um…" I trailed off and started subconsciously playing with the tie on Kim's "Good luck," "Friendship," "More than friends," "I'm not sure what it is" bracelet. She looked down and saw that I had it on. When she looked back up at me I could see an unusual mix of sadness and embarrassment in her eyes. She bit her lip before quickly turning to leave. "Kim wait," I turned to follow her. "Don't trip again!" Milton yelled at me. I paused and turned my head. "Yes, thank you Milton," I said sarcastically before going after Kim.

"Kim, hold on a minute," I said as I chased after her. I grabbed her by the elbow and turned her around to face me. There were tears beginning to form in her eyes and it scared me a little. "Why'd you lie to me?" She asked. "Kim, I didn't mean to lie to you I just… I didn't want things to be awkward?" I meant it as a statement but it came out sounding more like a question. Why did I lie to her? "Well," she started, "It was just a silly bracelet. It doesn't matter so we can just forget it." "But Kim…" She started to turn away but I grabbed her arm and stopped her again. "What!?" She screamed with the usual fire back in her eyes; and I had a good view of her eyes too because when I turned her around we ended up only a few centimeters apart. I could feel her breath on my chin and that's when I did it; I grabbed her cheeks and kissed her. I'm not sure how long it was but I know she responded almost immediately and I loved it. When we broke apart I leaned my forehead against hers. She slowly opened her eyes and I saw happiness and a little confusion in them this time. "I think of you as more than a friend too," I whispered. She bit her bottom lip and looked down, a slight blush forming on her cheeks. Wow she's beautiful, I couldn't help but think. "Kim Crawford, will you be my girlfriend?" She smiled up at me, "Of course!"

And that is just my short little take on what I think should have happened at the end of A Trip Down Memory Lane. I apologize for any spelling/grammar mistakes or lack of detail (you can imagine on your own) because I'm writing this in a hurry. What do you think? Want more Kick stories from me? Tell me in a Review please; they make me happy and give me motivation to write more Jack and Kim!:) Love you all! –Shelby xox
