There was a shinigami named Mai Asahi off to her mission in the real world, dispatching the hollows one by one.
*SLICES THE HOLLOW* "Whoo! That was a close one!" Mai said.
*BEEP**BEEP* her soul pager said as it rang signaling her there is a hollow.
"Aww shucks! Not again?!" She said annoyed by the orders coming one after another. Later she saw the hollow chasing after a soul.
"You're not getting away!" She said chasing after the hollow.
"You can't catch me kiddo!" The hollow said as it tried to slice Mai in half. Mai didn't have time to dodge the attack. Luckily another shinigami appeared with a zanpaktou as long as his body.
"What the hell? There's no zanpaktou like that one!" Mai said, amazed of how this kid fight and how big his zanpaktou is.
At last the boy defeated the hollow.
"Are you okay girl?" He said as he glanced at Mai.
"YOU! I KNOW YOU! ICHIGO!" Mai said as she realized who this boy was.
"MAI?!" Ichigo said as Mai hugged her hard. Mai was her older cousin. But she never looked older. She looks younger than Ichigo even though she was 2 years older than Ichigo.
"C-C-C-Can't breathe" Ichigo said suffocated of Mai.
"Oh sorry" Mai said.
They talked about things and others and soon they went to their staying place and rested.
