"Gentle Revelation"
There's nothing much he can say about it.
He considered that he had said it all – commas, fullstops, hyphens, brackets and everything. There's absolutely nothing else to say. Even if she wrung out all words out of his stiff lips, there wasn't anymore to say to make it as clear as he had said it.
He wanted to be gentle about it – he thought he had said it as gently as possible in his most casual tone as he could conjure – but perhaps, it wasn't what she expected from his kind of elegence.
Elegence be damned.
What was the line again? "A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do". Though a seemingly very inappropriate time, he made a mental note to ask Orange Hair to lend him the movie next time he come.
Ah, well, he didn't know why she had to be upset about what he had said. He wasn't being rude or anything of that sort. He's a noble and she's a noble. Being nobles, they should live up to their decrees and act in accordance of the said decrees. Thus, he felt that it's of utmost importance for him to tell her the truth.
All truths and nothing but the truth.
And she still reeled over it and sent him sprawling over his own ground before disappering over his rooftop.
How unappreciative! What? She ain't gonna get the truth from anyone else but him – in her manic capacity.
As Kuchiki Byakuya sprawled on his ground, he stared into the sky. Sometimes, people were too gentle to take the truth in, even if the truth were given in the gentlest gesture there was. He sighed.
One of the marching clouds suddenly took shape of Shihōin Yoruichi transformed self – a cat, complete with whiskers and waving tail. He felt a surge of affection. The kitten cloud looked so cuddly.
Well, he had said it. He only hoped she would accept the truth when she finally cooled down and thought about it. And perhaps do something about it. Personally, he thought it wasn't that hard to accept. One only had to be open-minded about it.
"You smell of kitten poop."
What so hard to accept about that?
