Wild Dragon Cliffs brought back memories for the trio who stood raggedly on top, shivering their fur coats off. For Hiccup, it was the memory of what it means to be a Hero. For Fishlegs, it was the memory of colder and wilder days when a bard wasn't free to be a bard.
For Camicazi, it was the memory of who Hiccup was and why she loved him. And also why she couldn't love him. All three shuddered and smiled at the unwelcome cliffside, thinking themselves crazy. They did this every day, but still it told them something new.
A Year Later….
Camicazi let Hiccup lead her by the hand onto his Windwalker, curious as to why they were leaving without Fishlegs. She obliged to him dragging her into the largest part of the tunnels, a part it had taken the trio a long time to discover. The walls were damp, and the crystals shining in the walls gave off an eerie light. Hiccup tucked Camicazi's blonde hair behind her ears and held both her hands.
"Camicazi," he said, slowly, "will you go out with me?" Camicazi pulled his hands closer to her and kissed him, so quickly he hardly even knew what happened.
"Yes."
Five years later….
Fishlegs had led Barbara the Barbarian away on his Shadow, who eased him forward into this. He kissed her on the cheek and took her to the same spot where Hiccup had asked Camicazi out. He and Barbara had been dating for six years now, and he had decided to finally get over his fears and propose.
"Barbara," he sang, "you are beautiful, smart, and, helpful, I know this doesn't rhyme, but will you marry me?" he held out a ring fashioned of mood dragon and shadow scales. In the middle was a Seadragonus Giganticus Maximus scale, illuminating all the others.
"Yes. Yes. YES!"
