Disclaimer: I don't own The Lion King characters.

A/N: Human Lion King Universe. This is a revised and longer version of chapter 1. The plot won't have a monarchy based theme. The summary will be revised too and I will be getting chapter 2 up soon.

Kiara and Kovu are the parents of twins named Malika and Adrian. Malika has chocolate brown hair passed down from her great grandmother Sarabi. Her eyes are violet with speckles of sapphire blue like her aunt Vitani. Her skin is cream colored like her mother. Adrian has his father's light brown skin, emerald green eyes and jet black hair. The whole family is in the Nursery and admiring the twins.

"Malika looks a lot like you did when you were a baby, Kiara," Simba said.

"Really?" Kiara asked.

Simba nodded.

"I just hope she listens to you more than you did when you were growing up," Simba said.

Kiara chuckled quietly and reminisced about the times that she would disobey her father. She was a girl who wanted to have fun. It was hard living in a strict household with an overprotective father and a dull brother. Kopa is standing in the background beside Sarabi. He thought it would be fun to tease Kiara a bit.

"Dad is still on your back for all the times you disobeyed him," Kopa smirked.

"What about you smarty pants?" Kiara asked.

"I had my moments where Dad would lecture me," Kopa replied.

Kiara snorted.

"It's true; I'm not the perfect son," Kopa said.

"Yeah and Mom and Dad are perfect parents," Kiara replied sarcastically.

Simba and Nala chuckled at that statement.

"Do you think that Kovu I will be great parents?" Kiara asked.

"We all think that you and Kovu will be great parents," Nala replied.

Kiara and Kovu smiled at the support they are getting from the family. Vitani walked over to the bassinets and looked at the babies.

"They're beautiful; I'm very sure they'll grow up to be well functioning adults," Vitani replied.

"We're glad you think so," Kiara said.

Everybody in the room all had a chance to hold the twins. Moments later, Kiara and Kovu decided to put them back in their bassinets so they can sleep. Once the twins were sleeping, everyone quietly exited the Nursery and headed down to the livingroom.

"It was an easy couple of months taking care of Malika and Adrian," Kiara said.

"Yeah, since they don't have colic," Kovu added.

"You're lucky; Kopa had colic until you and him were about six months old," Simba told Kiara.

Kopa chuckled with an embarrassed look on his face.

"I was a baby back then," Kopa said.

Everyone nodded.

Kiara and Kovu waved goodbye to their guests so they could have time to themselves.
