Attack on Titan OC Insert:
The Girl Who Stole His Heart
She was ordinary. Anyone would pass her down the street without giving her a second glance.
But to a certain pair of teal eyes, she was so much more.
The morning she arrived on Scout soil, he knew his life would change. Not that his life was any boring. Bearing the weight of humanity's last hope was no easy task. But somehow her presence lifted the heavy load just enough to relax.
She was a transferring recruit and he made sure he was one of the first to welcome her. He couldn't help himself. He was drawn to her. Moths to a fire. He made sure to note every detail upon their first meeting. He did well to hide his flustered composure. After that day, he was hooked.
He had never seen anyone quite like her before.
Sure, his adoptive sister was very different than most. She's the last of her kind. But when he met Mikasa, it was under very different circumstances. They were only children. Over the few years they were together, he grew to love her as a sister, then a mother figure, nothing more, and nothing less. She was the last family he had and he would protect her till the very end.
But her.
Her brown eyes seemed to hold a whole universe. They were a dark honey that sweetened up any meal just the right way and in the sunlight they would lighten up just a bit and fill her entire being with hope, even if she denied to have any left, he knew for sure it was there.
When in the darkness, they told stories of all the pain she had endured.
Just one look into her eyes, and he was more determined than ever to complete his mission.
Her eyes weren't all.
He had never actually seen hair like hers before. The spirals that adorned her features, a crown she was born with. Chocolate and mocha swirls that only the rich could afford. The color did her well. They bounced about when she scurried down the halls and he longed to twirl just one shiny spiral around his finger.
The golden tan that her skin possessed was not too different from his own. Having been in the military a year longer than him, it was a sign of hard work protecting the walls that hid humanity from the horrors beyond. A trophy, if you will, and it suited her well. While she was definitely strong, her toned muscles displayed that message clearly; there was a touch of elegance and class her evident curves let off. An hourglass.
By goodness she was beautiful to his teal eyes. Her figure only reminded him that time was running out. Being in the scouts meant that everyday could be your last, so he knew he had to make his feelings known, even if they would never amount to be anything more than friends.
Eren Jaeger had to make his love known before he was gone, or even worse, before she was wiped away to nothing more than a fallen soldier.
That day would come soon enough. Whether she would return his affections was a mystery to him.
The one thing that was certain was that only one person could make him feel these newfound emotions. And Eren would make sure Celeste became aware of her crime.
