Sacrifice

Meanwhile, after walking towards the point where we thought Reza took refuge in, we were thinking about what we should do to enter. Everything seemed calm at that time, with the abandoned building still standing, and nothing suspicious. There was only one thing on our minds right now, making sure that his massacre stops here and now. However, there was still the point of whether he chose to stay or leave the spot, leaving us with such annoying questions. Did he set up a trap just in case? Maybe he left and dropped off a partial of his load right here, and maybe we could reclaim it?

Suddenly, Sebastian ran back to us, looking like he was about to tell us something. Bryce then scolded him of how he shouldn't be here. He then replied back to him, mentioning that it was his own choice to inspect the entrances. He suggested that there was a bomb attached to the door, or at least near it. Without any words, we gone on one question. Who should go in first? Bryce then came up to me, saying that he will go in there, not wanting to risk my life for it. I felt kind of horrible after that, almost like something was ripped out of me with ease. I tried to call out to him, trying to make him avoid the situation so he wont be the one who possibly blows up opening the door. Although it was too late, he was already at those doors, and then he walked through them, entering the building.

Then, a large rumble shook the earth, showing it by blasting a huge amount of flames and destruction out of which Bryce entered, and the building began to collapse, being slightly on fire. I called him, hoping that he was still alive, but now, he was nothing but a past memory, as Sebastian reported no signs of him anywhere. I couldnt beleive he was gone, and for real now. I clenched my fist, focusing my anger onto the specific person who set up this dastardly trap, Reza. I really wanted to blast a fire into his face as well, or stab him in the guts for what he did to innocent souls. Then, a soft voice spoke within me. "Do not let anger get the best of you."
