"Lilly, hold up!" I said. She stopped and turned around.
"what are you all laughing at? At least she had the nerve to get up there, even though she did COMEPLETELY humiliate herself."
"thank you," lilly said angrily. (A/N I had this part memorized. I just typed what I knew, sorry if it's wrong.)
Miley started saying a bunch of things, but I was paying too much attention to lilly to listen.
Lilly asked for a do-over. She got back up there and started singing horrible, but to me it sounded better than before, because it was her true self.
Miley started to lead everyone in clapping, and I helped.
LATER AFTER EVERYONE IS LEAVING
Sarah went up to me and said,"I thought it was really sweet of you to help lilly. And I know you like her. So if I were you I would tell her, because some other guy will take her. Bye!!!"
Lilly came up and said, "what was that all about?"
"nothing!" I said as calmly as I could.
She shrugged and turned around and left. I started packing things up, being the last one there. Then I heard someone clear their throat. I turned around and saw lilly standing there.
"yes?" I asked.
She took a deep breath and said, "oliver, I think it was really sweet of you to stick up for me when no one else would. Not even miley. And I think it was really sweet of you to do that. So… thank you." Then she turned around again, but turned around again and threw her arms around my neck. I wrapped my arms around her waist slightly awkwardly. She dug her head into my shoulder.
When she pulled away, I felt some heat just leave my body. I looked at her face and saw a few tears slip down her face. I looked at her kind of shocked.
"What's wrong, Lilly?" I asked.
"it's just…" she didn't get to finish.
Because my lips were on hers.
Wait a second, what? I can't believe I did that!!!!!!!!!!!
I pulled away quickly. "sorry," I mumbled. Sarah can really mess up my brain.
She kissed me.

We broke apart when we heard an EEP!
Looking at the door, we saw miley looking positively GLEEFUL.
"I knew you guys would get together soon! Jackson owes me 20 bucks!!"
She ran off.
I looked at lilly and shrugged.
And we kissed again.
"I love you," I whispered so softly I thought she didn't hear me, but I knew she did when I heard her say "I love you, too."
