A/N: I decided to edit this chapter and the next because I noticed a few errors. Hope you read and review!
"Mulder! Hurry up! Myers and Skinner are waiting for us!" Scully yelled, knowing Mulder was reluctant to go. He never liked going on FBI outings. Especially when Diana Fowley was there...
"Alright, alright. I'm coming!" he responded back, walking down the stairs. Scully was waiting outside of his apartment, once again driving his car since he was too lazy to drive it himself. Typical Mulder. He was carrying a backpack that held various items such as sleeping bag, tent maker, and the famous "Bug" spray. He approached his car with a face and got in the seat beside Scully, wishing a storm would just appear out of nowhere. Unfortunately, it was bright as day. Stupid Weather, he complained, not making direct eye contact as Scully sighed.
"Were going to camp out in the woods Mulder. How bad can that be?" Scully asked, starting to drive away.
"Do you even get it? Scully, were going to be out in the wilderness. You know, as in out with the animals, the trees, the damn mosquitoes, and those who invited us. Why the heck would I wanna spend my weekend with those losers? Myers is a freak, Diana is obsessed, Monica doesn't even like me, Skinner is as boring as watching a bear take a dump and last but not least Doggett is annoying! What more punishment is there? You gotta show me some sympathy here!" Mulder said, getting a few laughs from Scully.
"I can't help but agree with the whole Diana thing but Monica is sweet and so is John. Skinner, well you know how Skinner is and Myers...Can't argue with that either".
Mulder groaned and leaned against the window. Why did he have to go? What was he going to do anyway? Watch Myers, watch Scully? Sit around a campfire and listen to Diana sing stupid love songs? Sleep threw Skinner's annoying snoring? Answer: NONE of the above. He had to escape. He had to figure out a plan...
"Were almost there. Excited?" Scully asked, driving up the road. Suddenly an idea popped into Mulder's head and he smiled.
"Yeah, guess I'm excited after all" he replied knowing he was going to make the best of it.
