Hanabusa and Ruka stood in the main area of the Kuran house, trying to avoid the awkwardness of their situation. As the majority of vampires knew, Ruka was head over heels in love with Kaname, as she had been for awhile. Hanabusa had a crush on Yuki for awhile, but he had yet to admit it to anyone, not even his prying sister. The two of them stood there having a small conversation, trying to avoid eavesdropping on the argument occurring on the floor above them between the two pureblood lovers. Ruka smiled slightly when she heard a door slam as Yuki stormed out of the room, since she had never wanted anyone else to belong to her Kaname-sama. Hanabusa's smile was less obvious than Ruka's was as Yuki stormed down the stairs, followed by Kaname who looked like he had given up on trying to work things out with her. Kaname and Yuki walked in opposite directions, leaving Ruka and Hanabusa still awkwardly standing around trying to decide whether or not to take advantage of the current situation. Hanabusa turned to Ruka, "Should we check on them? You can check on Kaname, while I check on Yuki…"
Ruka nodded, "Sounds good…" Hanabusa watched as Ruka practically ran down the hall towards Kaname.
Hanabusa walked the opposite way to find Yuki, and found her sitting by a window staring out at the moon. He walked over to her, before sitting down next to her, "Are you okay?" The only response he received was Yuki nodding her head. He sighed, and began to look at the moon with her, "It's a full moon tonight...It's so bright." Yuki nodded, but still hadn't moved. He looked at her, finally noticing that she had a necklace on with a moon charm on it. He felt like it was safe to assume that it was a gift from Kaname, and that he shouldn't bring it up. Hanabusa watched Yuki and decided that it was likely that she was going to fall apart any moment. He moved closer to her, and put his arm around her. The two sat next to the window, with Yuki in Hanabusa's arms, watching the moon for the rest of the night.
Ruka rushed down the hall, slowing down when she decided that she was getting close to Kaname. She composed herself, and continued to walk towards the figure at the end of the hall. Kaname turned to face her, "What do you want? I know you don't care about my problems with Yuki."
"To repeat that one night over again. Even if it's just for one more night…" Ruka sighed, not expecting Kaname to continue their conversation or fulfill her request. Kaname sighed, and began to walk into a room, gesturing for Ruka to follow. She felt her heart skip a beat, as she realized that Kaname was actually accepting her love. Ruka smiled, and decided that she was willing to accept whatever Kaname was going to do to her.
