Interview Log; DeHert. Document aaAA-0001
Gill: Alright Mr. DeHert. This is going to be an audio-only recording, so the Board requires me to remind you that you need to keep all responses strictly verbal. Understood?
DeHert: Understood.
I'll admit it. By the time any of this happened, I had seen, watched, and experienced worse. Regardless, I had stayed optimistic. But this had actually broken me down.
Gill: We would like to start with one thing.
DeHert: Okay.
Gill: What is Equestria like?
Just the cheery brightness of it all showed me anything I had ever found happy was insignificant. It took hold of my psyche and destroyed it.
DeHert: All I had seen of it was a village of probably 350. It was a small, rustic place surrounded by forests that extend for miles.
Gill: And the people?
DeHert: Ponies, sir.
(pause of five seconds)
DeHert: Quite peaceful.
Gill: So they were shaken by the event, I assume?
DeHert: We all were.
Refer to me as Jeff. It's not my true name, but anyone who isn't of authority refers to me as such. I would know, because I have been speaking to seas of authorities for the past three months and the name doesn't really appear.
I know people of... strange sorts. Two friends, I suppose. They were there on the expedition, and they know more than me. However, everyone speaks to me about the event.
This is what I have seen happen, what they say has happened, and anything of importance to my story.
(pause of twenty seconds)
Gill: , you seem uncomfortable with this conversation. Would you like to stop this interview?
(pause of three seconds)
DeHert: Yes, sir.
