Thor had lodged Stormbreaker into Thanos' chest. It seemed as if Thanos was finally defeated. However, Thanos has managed to survive the attack.

"You should've...", said Thanos, "You should've gone for the head.".

Thanos snapped his fingers, causing a blinding light to fill the area. Thanos woke up in a pocket dimension created by the Soul Stone. Thanos sat up, wondering what just happened to him when a voice cried out,

"Rent!"

Thanos turned around to see a middle-aged man wearing a black jacket, a black v-neck with a matching shirt underneath it, dark grey pants and black shoes.

"Who are you?", Thanos asked.

"I'm Mr. Ditkovich", the man said, surprised, "I'm your landlord."

"What are you talking about? I don't have a landlord.", Thanos responded.

"Do you care to explain why you're a month's late on your rent? For the 30th time in a row?!", Ditkovich asked, irritated.

"I just told you..."

"Listen, this is a free universe. It's not a rent-free universe."

"Please, just shut up already."

"Pay your rent and I will."

"That's it, you asked for it.", Thanos said, pointing the Infinity Gauntlet at Ditkovich.

"I didn't ask for it but now that you mention it...", Ditkovich said with a smile on his face. Ditkovich then lunges at Thanos, tackling him to the floor.

"How are you that strong?", Thanos asked. Ditkovich then took the gauntlet off Thanos's hand as as he was putting on his own, he said...

"Like I said, this isn't a rent-free universe."

"That doesn't explain anything!", Thanos yelled. Ditkovich got off Thanos.

"It would if you actually paid your rent.", Ditkovich responded before snapping his fingers, causing Thanos to return to his body in Wakanda.

"What did you do?", Thor asked, "WHAT DID YOU DO?!". Thanos, Thor and the rest of the Avengers then noticed several pieces of paper falling from the sky. Thor caught one in his hand and looked at it before showing it to Thanos.

"Does this look familiar to you?", Thor asked.

The paper was a rent slip.

"Oh no.", Thanos said.
