A/N: I OWN TWILIGHT!! NOT!! If I owned Twilight I wouldn't be here, comprende?
All was normal in the Cullen household. Emmett was playing video games with Jasper, with Rose and Alice as their respective cheerleaders. Edward was playing the piano, again, and Esme was watching them all passively.
"Come on, just a little faster…" Emmett urged the car on the screen.
"You are so not going to win!" Jasper riled Emmett, seeing as he was banned from using his gift during gamed.
"Go Emmett! Show him!" Rose encouraged.
Everyone else was watching the game so intently, they didn't notice the piano fall silent as two of their family members went still, their eyes glazed over, seeing a much different scene than the one before them.
It was a grassy field, a meadow, filled with wild flowers. It was almost perfectly circular, surrounded by forest. It was a beautiful, sunlit place.
Two figures were lying in the center. One had bronze colored hair, lightened slightly in the sunlight. The figure was male. His skin was pale, almost deathly white, and it sparkled in the sunlight. His eyes were shut, his mouth turned up in a smile.
The girl beside him was propped up on one arm, facing him. Her long brown hair fell over her shoulder, matching her brown eyes. She blushed slightly as she used her free hand to trace patterns on her companion's arm.
When the two returned to the room, they looked at one another. It wasn't until Jasper turned to Alice to celebrate his victory did anyone else notice that anything had happened.
"Alice…" Jasper asked, looking warily at her.
Alice remained silent, stunned at what she'd seen. She continued to stare at Edward incredulously.
"Edward?" Rose asked, trying to figure out what was going on.
"Impossible…" Edward finally managed to say. He shook his head back and forth. "That would never happen…"
"Not impossible, since I saw it," Alice countered.
"You've seen things that have never happened. What makes this one special?" Edward countered. The rest of the family still stared on in utter confusion.
"Yes, but those aren't this solid, this definite. This one will happen." Alice looked utterly stubborn.
"Not if I can help it," Edward grumbled before getting up from the piano, storming up the stairs.
