Milleniums have passed since the ancient times, the continent has long since undergone major changes through the effects of time.
The world was now known as the Profound Sky Continent, the continent consists of the Seven major nations and one of the largest and most powerful nation was the Divine Phoenix Empire or what was previously known as the Land of Fire.
True Gods have begun appearing a few centuries back and begun stabilising the world that has been ruined by the Shinju who wiped out the entire population. Eventually the True Gods recreated the Humans after stabilising the world and due to the remnants of the Chakra of the Shinju formed what came to be known as the Divine Beasts who while powerful was nothing compared to the True Gods at that time.
The Divine Beasts slowly gained power through the years as the Humans of the world gained some form of energy they named 'Profound Energy'. As the True Gods began losing power, the Divine Beasts slowly gained more and went ahead to create 'Profound Beasts'.
Profound beasts were creatures similar to Bijuu but severely weaker in terms of power and much more solid as they possesed body of flesh and blood.
During that time the Evil God eventually rose and fought multiple True Gods and was eventually dubbed 'Evil' by them, however as the Primordial Era slowly fell, the Divine beasts too eventually disappeared leaving behind multiple legacies.
-Naruto Against Gods-
A man could be seen standing over a mountain overlooking the land he once called home, the man had blonde hair and blue eyes that had lost it's brightness over the milleniums, his most defining features were the three whisker marks along his face.
Ever since the Shinju was defeated, the energy from the defeated Shinju had with it's last shred of will forcefully pulled the entire Shinobi's Chakra towards the last link it had which was the Bijuu within Naruto and eventually turned him immortal.
Naruto watched as the world changed, he watched as humans were recreated and beasts similar to Bijuu were again created. Several centuries ago he had tried killing himself in hopes of meeting his loved ones yet he eventually reformed regardless of how he died.
Eventually after trying multiple times and failing, he gave up and merely stood aside and watched as the world slowly changed, he was never once discovered due to his presence being altered into what could be called a permanant Sage mode which merges him with the Nature itself and prevented any other existence from sensing him unless he purposedly suppressed the Sage Mode.
Now watching as the world had already developed so much, he saw people wielding energy known as 'Profound Energy' and once again started wars with each other, he had once tried to prevent wars but in the end had only managed to cause more of them to happen.
After that he merely stood aside and watched as the world continued developing until this point, he decided to once again travel the world and treat it as a new experience considering he had no means of dying as of yet, he would simply have some fun while waiting until the day he could die come.
From this day onwards, Naruto Uzumaki has stepped out of Isolation and the world as they know it would be turned upside down.

Lol...I had a burst of inspiration while reading 'Defying the Heavens' and decided to write this, it probably won't be continued on.
