Since this week PJ fandom celebrate Sally Jackson/Poseidon - Sally Jackson/Paul Blofis I thought to celebrate them translating a part of my last Italian story.

It is a Sally POV. In italic you'll find a missing moment!

Enjoy :D

Say Yes

After dinner, paul walked her along the Hudson. On the other shore, New York was glowing in all its greatness, like a Christmas tree, while on this side of the river the Liberty Statue stood in its solemnity.

"It's so beautiful here. We should come back soon." Sally said looking at the landscape in front of her.

"Yeah, I agree." Paul was staring at her, his voice was trembling. "Sally – Uhm, can you… I have to ask you something."

"Go on." Many theories came across Sally's mind as she looked at him putting his hand in his pocket of the jacket and kneeling in front of her. Oh my goddness. Sally covered her mouth with her hands so not to make any sound.

"Sally Jackson, from the first time I saw you in that class till today I lived moments I could not have even imagined. You are a fantastic, independent, passionate and smart woman. I am only a Literature professor who loves all that is ancient and I know I can not give you much, but I do believe I can give you something that nobody else can: I love you, Sally Jackson." He confidently spoke looking in her eyes filled up with tears. Paul opened the little box that showed a blue topaz ring. "Will you marry me?"

"You should marry me."

Sally turned toward Poseidon, quizzically. She had Percy in her arms, sucking his milk from the bottle. "You're not serious, are you?"

"I am. You deserve to be my queen. I should have done it before Perseus was born and that your life changed like this."

"Like what? My life is perfect. Yeah, Percy will have problems when he grows up, you told me that, but you also said that exists that Camp Half-blood and he'll be safe there. My life is perfect as it is."

Poseidon looked sad and surprised. "You don't want to marry me?"

Sally gave little pats on Percy's back and then laid him in his bed. Then, she gazed at Poseidon. "What would change if I marry you? Only God knows how much I'd like to become you wife, but you already have one and she's not a simple human being. Poseidon, I cannot ever be your wife."

"I would have turned you in a goddess."

She smiled sadly and hugged him. "I am so sorry. Percy has to live like a ordinary boy and there's no place for me in your world." Sally felt Poseidon holding her tighter as he shivered imperceptibly. She stepped back just to look in his eyes, they were glistening. "I am sorry too."

"Yes, yes, yes! I wanna marry you!" She went down on her knees and kissed his lips at every word she said. She held him tight until he whispered. "Percy was right."

"What's about Percy?"

Paul smirked. "I asked him for the authorization to ask you to marry me. You know, he's your man and I thought it was right."

"You asked Percy…" She kissed him harder. Her heart was about to explode and her head was light as a cloud.

"We'll tell him as we get home, ok?"

"Paul Blofis, tonight you can do whatever you want with your future wife."

"Oh!" He exclaimed at the eloquent gaze Sally gave him. "I put this ring on your finger, first, then we go home." Paul took the ring and put it around her left annular. "Future Miss Blofis. I like it!"

"So do I!"
