Summary: Short One-shot, set after SOOH. Danny and Lindsay take a much needed nap.

Author's note: There had been so many post-SOOH stories out there is had to tell if you are truly been original. But I really wanted to do this and I hope you enjoy it.
"I'm sorry Mr. Messer" the young woman behind the counter said "All our suites are taken this week, there's an oncology seminar happening here in Bozeman, and we're fully booked. I wish I could help"
"It's okay" Lindsay said "You can stay with me" She said looking at Danny.
Danny shook his head "No, you had a hard day, you need to rest…"
"No offense Danny, but you look way more tired than me. It's just for one night anyway" She looked at her watch "More like one afternoon nap and a night actually"
Danny chuckled "Okay"
They walked to Lindsay's room when she turned to open the door she could feel him behind her and she could feel his heat, it made her tense and safe all at the same time.
They entered the room and Danny dropped his overnight bag on the floor "So, I'll take the couch..."
"No" she said and he stopped turning to look at her "We can a share the bed" When he only stared at her she continued "We both need a good sleep"
"Are you sure?"
She nodded "Yes"
She got in the bed and he took off his sneakers, his jacket and followed her.
She was facing the wall, but could sense he was facing her back. After a few minutes like that she turned to him.
"What you did today" She whispered "That was the nicest thing anyone ever did for me"
He smiled and touched her cheek "I had to be here with you" He said "I was starting to picture you in other people faces"
She laughed "Really?"
"I thought I was going crazy. But I guess I just missed you"
She smiled "I missed you too. I even dreamed about you"
His eyebrows went up.
"Not that kind of dream" she laughed "I dreamed we were at my folks property, it was the first snow of the year and we went riding together to see the snow" She sighed "It was such a nice, peaceful dream, just what I needed between all the nightmares"
He pushed a curl that feel on her cheek behind her ear "Maybe someday we can do that"
She smiled "I would like that"
She scooted closer to him and he wrapped his arms around her waist and they were still facing each other. Their faces were inches from each other and almost at the same time they both leaned in and kissed. A soft and quiet kiss. They pulled back and stared at each other before she leaned again for another kiss, this time a passionate and deep one. After a long time they pulled away gasping for air.
"I've wanted to know how this would be like for a long time" She whispered
"Not more than me" He grinned resting his forehead in hers.
She smiled "Danny, I really want for us to try again, whatever is that this will be, but…"
"But you don't want to rush anything" He said knowing what she meant.
"Sorry"
"Hey" He pulled her closer "Don't be sorry. I get it. Besides" He voice went huskier "I'm so tired right now wouldn't be able to give you my best" He grinned "If you what I mean"
She laughed "I'll believe it when I see it, Messer"
"Don't temp me Montana" He leaned in kissed her lips and then her forehead 'Night, Linds" He said lying on his back and pulling her to his chest.
She sighed and snuggled closer to him "Night, Danny"
It didn't take long before they both sound asleep.
