A poem that came to me while listening to the Chrono Trigger song, "World Revolution".

World revolution,
The flames of change
Blazing through a planet
As everything is set a fire
Set a fire with
World revolution

World revolution
A new era dawning
As the pendulum cracks
Against the sidings
Of the metal clock
Leaving behind a split
Snaking through the wall
A split of
World Revolution

World revolution-
It's sweeping across the planet
Embrace it, embrace it
Or let it tear you apart
A new order is coming
One unprecedented
One to bring the glory
One to be remembered
World revolution

World revolution...
World revolution...
And yet...
One little voice
Muffled by the distance
One little voice
Crying out,
"It's not a natural evolution
Rather an obscene deviation..."

World revolution
Blazing through the planet
-One little voice crying
The flames of change
-The voice of protest
As everything is set a fire
-As everything remains the same-
World Revolution...
