A Friendly Voice
This is a crossover with Eureka and Warehouse 13. Claudia is devastated after Myka quits. But a phone call from Fargo helps her feel better.
I just couldn't pass this one up, I love both characters as friends or more, they're just too cute together.
I still don't own either show or the characters.

Claudia couldn't stop crying. Things have gone wrong a lot lately. First she realized that Todd was her soul mate, then he had to be relocated in the witness protection program again. Then Pete's girlfriend Kelly almost killed him because of an artifact, then when she came out of it, she broke up with him and left town. She couldn't handle the fact that she'd almost killed the man she loved.
Then Artie and Myka went to Yellowstone after HG Wells. When Artie shot HG, he started bleeding like he'd been shot, because HG was wearing the vest of one of the Corsican Brothers. And of course Artie almost died again, and that was just getting old. HG almost put the world into another ice age again too. Thanks to Myka, Artie and the world was saved again.
But now Myka was blaming herself for believing in HG and letting her get into Warehouse 2. So Myka talked Pete into staying with them and Warehouse 13 when he wanted to quit because of Kelly leaving town. Then she left, she quit without saying good bye to them. Yeah, she wrote a letter, but that's not the same as saying good bye.
She looked down at the letter and couldn't stop the tears from falling again. How could she just leave them when they needed her most. And why wouldn't Artie let them go after her, not even Pete. Pete had tried to stop her, but he was too late and he was inconsolable right now too. He was acting like he'd lost his puppy. Pete and Myka were better halves of each other.
Claudia jumped when her cell phone rang. Looking down at it, she saw that it was Doug Fargo, from Eureka. She liked him a lot, but her heart was still hurting from her loss of Todd. "Hey Doug." She said as she answered the phone.
"What's wrong Claudia?" He asked and she could hear the concern in his voice.
Without crying, she explained what had been going on lately. She even told him about Todd too. He was one of the few people she knew that she could talk openly with. "It's just been really hard, and it hit all at once." She told him.
"I'm sorry Claudia, I wish I could be there for you right now." He said.
She smiled but of course he couldn't see her. "Thanks Doug, just hearing your voice and talking to you really helped." She told him.
"Glad I could help. You know that I'll always be here if you ever need me. I'm always a phone call away Claudia, and I can be on the next flight out...anytime." He told her.
"Yeah, I know. And thanks Doug. You're a really good friend." She told him.
"You're more than welcome Claudia. I'll let you go, but call me if you need me." He told her.
"I will and thanks again Doug. Talk to you later." She said and hung up. She did feel better now. It's funny how a friendly voice could make you feel better.
