MEDITATION
Tenzin sat very still hoping it would help to concentrate on his meditation, breathe in, breathe out, breathe in. His butt was starting to get numb but he didn't care. He opened one eye and gazed at his father everything in him wanted to be just like him.
Flashback:
Tenzin age four: Daddy I want to be just like you with I get older.
Aang: My son, to make your own impression on the world you need to be yourself and not me.
Tenzin: Ok daddy.
present: He was so patient and caring why couldn't he be like that he was more like his mom, very impatient. Just to think about what he said was comforting but people always expected him to be just like him. What was really worrying him was to fact that he was going to help lead Republic City one day was nerve racking. Tenzin had forgot that he was staring at his dad until he heard his name being called so he jumped back to the present and looked at Aang with a blank stare hoping he did not notice he sad gaze he had a second ago. Of course he noticed and with that Aang asked his son with a lovingly type tone a father could only give "Is something wrong my son".Tenzin replies"no of course what could be wrong"his father knew he was lying he said " Now I know I am not Toph but I can tell your lying. Tenzin you know its not good to hold in your feeling and I am you father you can tell my anything". Tenzin then thought it over and decided he was right (like always) "ok well you see...I just wish I could be more like you. Everyone expects me to help run this city you created with the slatiest of ease. They have no doubt that I will be a create leader like you. Wh-what if I mess up and they never trust me again". Aang sat silent for a moment then said "I have made many mistakes in my life", Tenzin looks at his father in awe he didn't know he had made a lot of mistakes he knew the major ones though he had no idea he made a lot of then "thing are bound to go wrong but that's the magic of learning from our mistakes it makes us who we are".After that Tenzin felt a lot better. He gave Aang a reassuring smile.
