A/N~ Okay, So… Here's my story, "The ends beginning" Review please! Should I continue? :3

I growled as my parents pulled into the driveway. Leaving me alone for three months, they think they can just waltz back into my life. I sighed frustrated and walked out the back door. I heard my sister's voice echoing down the street. I rolled my eyes and hoped a fence and ran as fast as I could. Darting into the DX I found a seat and sat down, catching my breath.

"Hazel!" My best friend, Sam, yelled. He took a seat next to me. "Your folks are back in town?"

I snarled at the mention of them but shook my head.

"Aw, that ain't right..." he said shaking his head and glancing back up he laughed and waved at someone, "Hey, Sodapop!"

'Was his name "Sodapop"? 'I thought and turned to see the man. The man, Sodapop, was sitting with his own gang. A small Tan boy, a dangerous blonde haired boy, a big tough one, and a goofy looking one. The other boy was one in my sister's class. What was his name? I can't remember. It was something strange. Horseboy? No. Ponyboy! That was it.

Sam hoped up and grabbed my arm and dragged me over by the boys.

"Hey," he smiled at them and then turned to me. "That's Sodapop, and those are his brothers Ponyboy, and Darry. That's Two-Bit, Johnny, and Dallas."
He stated, appointing everyone to their names. "And this is Hazel."

"Hey..." I stated casually, hiding my face behind my red hair. The boys said their hellos and the DX door opened.

"Hazel!" And I whirled around to see my father coming towards me.

"You gotta be joking me." I mumbled, trying to find an exit.

Run.
Run.
Was all that was on my mind. Sam stepped in front of me as protection. My father easily grabbed him and he winced in pain.

"Okay, Okay." I said holding my hands up in defense "I'll go..."

He dropped Sam and I walked past him.

"I'll be fine... "I whispered to him. I walked out the DX afraid of my father's gazing eyes.

I awoke to the sound of a beating against my window. I stood up with shaking legs. Almost like a baby deer trying its legs for the first time. I opened my window to see Sam standing below my window.

"Hazel..." he whispered, not wanting to be heard.

I swung my legs over the window and eased myself into his arms. Walking towards the park, it was rounding about 2:00 in the morning.

Smirking at Sam I mumbled, "Why'd you stop at my house?"

Seeing Sam turning a dark shade of red he stuttered out, "I wanted to mak-make sure you were okay..."
I laughed lightly. Turning my attention back to the park I gasped. Someone was trying to drown someone in the blasted fountain!
Latching onto Sam's arm I began running in the direction of the park.

"Hey! Get offa him!" I yelled grabbing the attackers arm.

The man turned around and shoved me away. I growled and saw Sam grab the man and pull him off of the person in the fountain. I rushed over to the fountain to see a familiar face.
I pulled him out of the water. Ponyboy began to cough up the water in which he had swallowed.

"You okay?" I asked staring at him intensely.

He nodded and arms lifted me up. I let out a started yelp and struggled to get free. Ponyboy shoved the man away. I fell to my knees and looked back up frustrated.
Pushing past everyone I grabbed Sam and told Ponyboy and Johnny to run. Reaching the streets the socs disappeared. I sighed and looked at my surroundings.

Sam walked a little ahead and was saying, "That was craz-"

And just like that a car collided with my best friend, sending him spiraling down the street. I just screamed. That was all I COULD do.
