A modern AU by the way.

Hiccup looked around the street and no sign of his friend. Jack called him earlier, asking to meet him at this exact street at 7pm since he has something he needs to tell him. He has a crush on the boy and he is nervous and scared at the same time.

He tugged at his red scarf and breathed out a sigh, watching his breath turn into water vapor. He felt a few people bump into him as they rushed about the street. He even saw some of his friends, who had dates and are going somewhere and not waiting in a cold street alone.

Couples walked past him, snickering at how he is alone here without a date. He already bought a cake and some presents from his family and Jack isn't around yet. The guy's hair would stand out here but he isn't around. Hiccup texted him a few times already but Jack didn't reply.

He was about to leave when he saw something that made him freeze to the ground. He felt his face heat up when he saw the familiar face standing in the middle with his cocky smirk.

Jack isn't stupid. He knows that Hiccup has a crush on him and he was happy since he returns the feelings too. He called Hiccup earlier to meet up at **** street at 7pm tonight to tell him something. He has been planning this for weeks and he is getting nervous. Yes, the school playboy and prankster, Jack Frost, is nervous about confessing to the person he likes. Who wouldn't?

He hid his hair underneath a black beanie to hide in the crowd since he knows his hair is distracting. He talked to the choir singing beside the tree and requested them to sing a song for the person he likes. Their position was very nice too since it was under a mistletoe too. He looked at the people kissing underneath the mistletoe and sighed deeply "This is it." he said to himself "I'm finally going to do it."

He noticed Hiccup standing in the middle of the street. He removed his beanie and waited for Hiccup to turn around. And once he did, his breath got caught in his troat. What was he doing? He forgot. Why was he here? He forgot. What is happening? He forgot.

Hiccup walked towards him and asked "What is all this?" He gestured to the singing choir in the background, the rose in his hand, and everybody watching them. Most of the couples around them looked at the two of them in awe and adoration.

Jack just looked at Hiccup "I-I-I-uh-" he stuttered. Hiccup looked at him, confused "Jack? Is there something wrong?"

"U-Uh," Jack couldn't stop stuttering. Everybody who were looking at them were starting to get disappointed in him since he couldn't admit his feelings to his crush. One started yelling "Tell him!" and everybody yelled with him.

"Jack?" Hiccup asked "Is there something going on here?" Jack let out a gasp and blushed "I-I don't know." he replied

"I-I-I should go." Hiccup said and left. People blocked his path "E-E-Excuse me," Hiccup saod but no one moved. Jack put a hand on Hiccup's shoulder and pointed up. Hiccup followed his gaze and saw a mistletoe. He blushed "Jack, what really is g-mmph!"

He was cut off by a kiss on the lips. "I like you, okay?" Jack said after the kiss, which earned a lot of cheers from the people around them "Hiccup? If you don't like me back, we can still be friends."

"Jack, I-I-I," Hiccup can't speak. He was shocked so all he did was hug Jack and kiss his cheek. Jack smiled and asked "You too?" Hiccup nodded "Yes!" Jack yelled out as the cheers grew louder "I'm the happiest person alive!"

He hugged Hiccup and lifted him up in the air "I'm so happy!"
