Destiny Island

It was a late afternoon and Sora sat looking into the sunset on the beach. The wind blew threw his brown hair as the waves tickled his feet.

"Sora" He turned around to only see Riku and Kairi looking down upon him.

They both took a seat next to him taking off their shoes letting the waves hit their feet as well.

"Why'd you take off after school without us Sora?" Riku asked looking up at the clouds as if he were trying to find something.

"Dun no….I needed some time to think…"

"About what" Kairi asked concern in her blue eyes; Sora blushed and immediately looked away. He was always shy, around Kiari.

"I, uh felt like I had to be alone…I can't explain it".

They all looked into the sunset the sounds of the ocean hitting the shore and the wind blowing through the palm trees.

Until Riku broke the silence.

"I'm going to get off this island someday"

"Oh...here we go…" Sora whispered to Kiari, Kiari giggled.

"No I'm serious! " Riku stood up proudly, ready to debate at will.

"Riku you been saying that ever since we were little" Sora said teasingly.

"But I was a kid then, I can take care of myself now!" Riku yelled, his rage getting the best of him.

Sora and Kiari stared at him.

"Well, you feel so strongly about it, may I ask why?" Kiari said stopping the silence.
Riku sighed and sat back down.

"Sorry you guys, I just…I just want to get off this stupid patch of land….I know there's something more…just waiting for me to find it, I don't want to be stuck here for the rest of my life…it's boring".

"That's Okay," Sora said "it's good to have hopes and your dreams, because without them there's just no point in life is there?"

"But I don't want it to be a dream…I want it to be real…" Riku whispered to himself.

"What, you say something Riku?"

"Uh, No Sorry, I mean Sora"

Kiari burst out laughing.

"What's so funny hey" Riku that wasn't funny!"

"Sorry Sora, I just couldn't resist!" Riku said trying hard not to laugh.

"Riku I'm gonna-"

"You're going to what?" Riku stood up and took off running "Nothing by just sitting there!"

"Oh yeah!" Sora laughed as he went after him.

"Hey don't leave me!!" Kiari yelled as she followed

Riku in the front, Sora following, Kiari behind them.

Sora hoped that this moment lasted for ever, him and his friends.

Nothing ever tearing them apart.

But the thing about hopes and dreams…is that the all don't come true.

So whadya think? This chapters pretty short because I willed it to be……lol.

Next one will be longer so you have to review so I can update!! Just a little chapter so you can decide if you wanna read it or not.
