Reimu Hakurei, the shrine maiden who used to rest peacefully in Gensokyou has decided to leave. She finds there's no need for her since she rarely gets donations and yearns for a normal human life. It wasn't what she had expected when she was younger, excited for the adventure and action. She didn't expect to deal with youkai or exterminating everything. She was exhausted.

Honestly... This job was exhausting. She only took it because she was a Hakurei and dreamt of the adventures she'd go on when she was younger. She didn't expect to be dealing with youkai or fighting that could risk her life. She didn't remember what she expected out of it... Probably somewhere better. What was the point? Nobody donated to her anyway and this was wasting the life she could have as a normal human being. Maybe it was time to quit? She was better off somewhere in the human world, where she belonged to people of the same species as her. This wasn't the job for her, not anymore... Reimu gets up, sighing as she searched her shrine for something to carry her belongings in. She finds a medium sized wooden basket, throws anything she needs in there and sets out.

A gust of wind passes by as she leaves, noticing that Marisa was looking towards her with confusion. The shrine maiden sighs, walking still and that's when the black-and-white-magician comes running up with her notorious curiosity. "Hey, what's with the basket?! Takin' a trip? A picnic? Lemme join ya!" Reimu holds a hand up, not responding to them. "Rude! At least tell me what's happenin'!" She didn't have time for this, if she tells her now then the questions will stop... Hopefully. "Marisa!" Reimu groans. "I'm quitting, that's what!" She exclaims, rubbing her temples a bit. She wanted to leave in peace, find Yukari sooner. "W...Whatttt?! B-But Reimu ya just can't quit like that!" Marisa says, trying to catch up with them. "Yes, I can. It's my decision and it's gonna be final."

"A butterfly is an endurance, hope, change, or life... She was supposed to be that hope for Gensokyou. Able to change the wrong in it and give them a peaceful life, nobody overthrows one another." A sigh escapes, the closing of the book can be heard. "Yet like all butterflies, they eventually grow old enough that they fly away. They yearn for a life, done with enduring. Our red-and-white Dichromatic Lotus Butterfly has flown away, surprising that not a new incident has begun yet." A chuckle from the merchant as he remembered the day Reimu ran to Yukari, beggin to go back to the human world permanently. "Oh, poor Reimu... Even so, you left without paying off your debt. I wonder if you will ever come back, missing your duties as a shrine maiden respectfully in Gensokyou. Anyway..."
