Yep, it's another story by me! Well... a drabble. I wrote this awhile ago, actually, but never found the use of putting it on but I decided 'Hey, people might like it! Might aswell!' so, I did. As it should be obvious, it's a TamaxHaru, and we should make one thing clear; Tamaxharu are NOT my favourite couple. But, they are easy to make fanfics about, and they still are a favourite of mine, but not my absolute favourite. I really wat to make a KaoruxHaruhi or something that DOESN'T involve a couple, but I'm finding it difficult... take this as it is, though. Enjoy! Review, if you could, please!

-------

Haruhi didn't believe in fairytales. In her mind, they were merely imaginative figures that gave small children false hope that one day they could grow up to be just like their fairytale hero. Slay a dragon, save the princess (or to be saved by a handsome prince that the princess herself probably had no idea who he was), everything a young child's mind could be easily manipulated to believe. It was truly pointless, and quite bothersome as a child to be handed these lies of 'true love conquers all', 'the magic lies within you' and all those unrealistic sayings and happenings in these books(which made for her father to have a hard time during her childhood with her asking questions like, 'How is that even possible?' and 'How can they make up these fantastic fibs with a straight face?'). Haruhi herself didn't hold much interest in the matter, like many things, but it was one of the many reasons why Haruhi didn't like to be referred to as 'The Host Club's Princess' or 'heroine'. Because the mere idea of it was pointless to her and otherwise pathetic.

Tamaki did believe in fairytales. In his mind, fairytales were as likely to become reality as he were to charm woman, so the probability to him was very high. He himself always considered himself to be a king or a prince; He was handsome, heroic, kind, fair, and would look fantastic in a suit of armor. And, of course, no prince was without a princess, and he inevitably chose Haruhi, the only girl who seemed to know the 'real him' (if Haruhi actually knew or cared that she knew the 'real him'). When he was a young (and adorable, he might add) boy, he drank up all the words his mother and father told him of princes and princesses, of dragons and mermaids, and almost everything so seemingly unreal yet real in the young child's mind.

It wasn't until these two individuals met eachother that they would truly think fairytales would become reality. At least for Haruhi. Tamaki was... unreal, in a sense, according to Haruhi. It was like he came straight from a shojo manga; he was like a prince. And to Tamaki, Haruhi was like a princess. A blunt, reluctant, unenthusiastic princess, yes, but a princess no less. With this new input on eachother, each were at a loss of words of what to think of one another. That being caused by confusion and the fact that whenever they got seemingly close their heart rate would go up exceedingly and words wouldn't have been able to escape their lips, anyway.

But, though these new views on eachother grew when they met, it still stood that it was unlikely for such two people to fall in love that easily, correct?

Wrong.

"Haruhi! Come back to me, my princess♥!"

At this, Haruhi sighed.
