Scene: Carey and Arwin get into Carey's car outside a cinema. They have been on a date together and are hurrying back to the Tipton because Carey is running late for a show she has to perform in. She is dressed nicely, wearing a red dress and matching high heels and she has gone back to longer, brunette hair.
Carey: (rushing out of the cinema) That was a longer movie than I thought. I'm running late.
(Carey gets into the driver's seat while Arwin gets into the passenger seat.)
Carey: We're going to have to hurry.
Arwin: Oh, we've still got 10 minutes.
Carey: You know what, we'll get there a lot quicker if I take these shoes off.
(Carey undoes the straps on her high heels and takes them off. Now, barefoot, she starts the car. Accidentally putting the car into reverse, Carey slams her foot down on the accelerator. The car goes backward and into a parked car behind it. Both Carey and Arwin open their mouths in disbelief.)
Carey: (in a worried tone) That's not good.
(In the rear view mirror, Carey sees red and blue lights, coming from the car she hit, flashing.)
Carey: That's not good either.
(Cut to another scene...)
(Return to the car scene. A police officer goes up to the window on the driver's side.)
Carey: I am so, so sorry about that. I didn't realise I had the car in reverse.
Cop: Ma'am, licence and registration please.
Carey: Of course.
(Carey frantically searches her handbag for her licence and registration.)
Carey: Uh...licence and registration...licence and registration...gotta be here somewhere.
(Carey is struggling to find it.)
Carey: Arwin, is it in the glove compartment?
(Arwin opens it.)
Arwin: No, nothing is. Except this map of Boston.
(Carey gasps. She goes back to looking in her handbag.)
Carey: Come on, licence and registration...please!
(Carey looks up at the cop with a guilty smile.)
Cop: (sarcastically) Oh, dear.
(Carey nervously laughs.)
Cop: (pulls out handcuffs) Why don't you step out of the car, ma'am...with your hands up.
(Carey opens the car door, still barefoot. She holds her hands up.)
Cop: (turning her around and handcuffing her behind the back) By the way, those high heels on the floor there, they've just bought you a ticket for unsafe driving.
(Cut to the next scene...)
(Return to the arrest scene, with the credits rolling. Zack, Cody and Bill are walking down the exact street, on their way to a movie at the same cinema.)
Zack: Hurry up, or we're gonna miss the previews.
Bill: You and your previews.
Cody: (seeing Carey) Mom?!
(The boys stop and see Carey in handcuffs, still barefoot, bent over on the hood of the car with her legs spread, being patted down by a police officer.)
Carey: Oh...hey, kids. I uh...probably won't be home tonight.
Zack: I don't believe it. You've now been arrested the same amount of times that I've been in detention this year.
Carey, still bent over the hood, gives him a mean look. The episode ends.
