Chapter 1

One day 18 year old Lorelai is in her dorm on the floor with 6 month old Rory on Rory's pink blanket she loves watching Sesame Street on her tv and has Rory on her tummy and Rory is reaching for a teething ring on the flor.

''come on baby reach for it.'' Lorelai tells her making her strech for it

Rory gets it and picks it up and puts it in her mouth.

''good girl baby I'm so proud of you!'' Lorelai kisses her head and rubs her back

Luke knocks on the open door

Lorelai looks up ''hey!'' Lorelai says

''hey.'' Luke says

''hey sweetie look whose here!'' Lorelai tells Rory

Rory looks up at Luke with her big blue eyes and gummy smile and gives him a warm smile and is chewing on her teething ring.

''hey sweetie.'' Luke says

''watcha doing?'' Luke asks them

''watching Sesame Street.'' Lorelai tells him and picks up Rory and hands her to Luke

Rory looks at him and grabs his flannel shirt and grabs it with her fist and shoves it in her mouth.

Luke lets her and kisses the top of her head.

''can you watch her while so I can go and shower please?'' Lorelai asks him

''yea sure thing.'' Luke tells her

''okay, mommy will be right back sweetie.'' Lorelai tells her and kisses the top of Rory's head and grabs her shower supply bucket, towel, and clothes to bring to the bathroom with her

Luke sits on Lorelai's bed letting Rory chew on his shirt while he watches Sesame Street with her.

Luke looks down at her and picks up the now dropped teething ring and wipes it off.

''here sweetie you want this instead?'' Luke asks her

Rory takes it from him slowly wrapping her fist around it.

''look sweetie Elmo!'' Luke tells her

Rory's eyes light up and she smiles at the tv.

Lorelai comes back a little whie later drying her hair with a towel

''hey good shower?'' Luke asks her

''yea really good I needed it.'' Lorelai tells him

''aww you getting hungry kido?'' Lorelai asks Rory seeing her choping on her teething ring again

''whre's all your stuff

''oh still in the bathroom I have to go get it I just wanted to come and check on her I should probably feed her soon then we can go out.'' Lorelai tells him

''okay sounds good.'' Luke says

''you know I have to breastfeed her.'' Lorelai tells him

''I know I've seen them before. I'll just watch tv while you do that.'' Luke tells her

''okay be right back.'' she says and turns around to go back to the bathroom to get her shower bucket to bring it back to her room

Rory starts to get crabby and Lorelai can hear her from the abthroom

''okay mommy's coming sweetie.'' Lorelai says from down the hall and comes back into the room and sees her and takes her from Luke and picks her up and sits with her on the bed with her back to Luke and lifts her shirt and lays Rory down across her lap to feed her
