Harry and Hermione were just getting off the train from Hogwarts. It was just a week ago that Harry had asked her to become his girlfriend and she happily agreed.
Taking Harry's hand Hermione lead him over to her parents, "Harry, this is my parents, Fabian and Anna Granger. Mum, Dad, this is my boyfriend Harry Potter.
Harry smiled to them and said, "It is nice to meet you, Mr. and Mrs. Granger."
Anna started to express her delight in meeting Harry but was cut off when Fabian Granger started to speak in a low growling voice, "If I ever find out that you hurt my daughter I will..." Hermione's dad continued with his threats for well over a minute before she managed to shake off her shock at seeing her dad threaten her boyfriend.
"Stop it right now, father." Hermione almost shouts to her dad, "First of all, I can take care of myself, second, I do not appreciate you threatening my boyfriend, third, what would you do and how would you feel if Harry's godfather came here and started threatening to kill me if I ever did anything to hurt Harry? I am quite sure we will both hurt each other at least once, but I'm also sure that it will never be on purpose, mistakes are made and misunderstandings happen, but that is life." She stares at her dad for a while making him squirm, "Apologize to my boyfriend for your threats, and you'd better never do that again."
Almost in a state of shock Fabian apologizes to Harry and after some hugs and kisses between Harry and Hermione they part ways to spend their summer holiday separate.
