Violet ran as fast as she could back to the cinema. Thank goodness that hadn't been wrecked. She did not want her date ruined again. She brushed herself down and checked the mirror for the umpteenth time.
''Have a good time, honey!'' her father called after her. She smiled back at him and waved. Thankfully she had made it back in time to see the film she and Tony had chosen together.
Tony was waiting faithfully outside the cinema. He waved shyly at her as she smiled. They walked into the building. Tony did not ask where she had gone, thankfully, and they sat down to watch the film. Neither of them concentrated much on it, though. Both were lost in thought…
After the film, they had both decided what to say to each other. Unfortunately, they both started saying it at the same and both became rather flustered.
''Tony, I need to tell you something. It's a secret- or it was. It's ok now to tell you and I'm sorry about all of that earlier.''
''I know you have some kind of secret, but it's ok if you don't want to tell me, or you can't tell me, I'm just happy how it is.''
Violet took a deep breath. ''I am a super.'' She said quickly ''And just then, I had to go and do super work and I understand if you don't want to go out with me anymore and that's fine, I just thought you should know so you can make a decision and- ''
''It's ok, Violet. It's just another detail about you that I love.'' Tony said softly. ''I really like you. And, well, I- I'd like to do this again, and I don't mind if you go out and do super work and you miss a date or- are we even dating? Sorry, it's just I really like you- I've said that alrea- ''
Violet silenced him with a quick kiss on the forehead. ''Good. I'm glad you like me, because I like you and- ''
''Hurry up, Violet!'' the voice of Dash came from the other side of the car park. God, his power could be changing the volume of his voice, Violet thought.
''I'd better go. Bye Tony! I'll see you for our next date.'' Violet called over her shoulders with a reluctant smile.
Tony was left in the car park smiling. He was dating the girl he loved!
