"Hey, Arthur- it's a photobooth! C'mon, let's do it~!"

"No bloody way. You know I hate to have my picture taken. Besides, it's a waste of money. Four tiny photos shouldn't cost four dollars."

"Aw, c'mon~ Please?" Alfred pleaded, "It's a nostalgic classic! I'll pay, even."

Arthur sighed. What the hell. If it would stop Alfred's begging, pleading and clinging (made unbearable in the seaside heat) he'd give in. He always did spoil the boy.

"Alright, alright. Just this once."

Alfred nearly yelped with glee, hauling Arthur over to the photobooth, sliding the black curtain back and shoving them both inside, then closing the curtain again and feeding four dollar bills into the machine.

"Please position your face in front of the camera," said a cool female voice. Alfred looked into the small square surrounding the camera.

"What, here?"

"Oh, for the love of…"

"Three, two, one: Smile!"

There was a blinding flash. Whether that was from the flash of the camera or Alfred's blinding smile is still up for debate.

The pair quickly blinked the spot out of there eyes.

"Quick, change the pose!"

"What?"

"It's tradition to have a different pose in every shot! Now come on!"

Quickly, both men flipped the camera the backwards "V" sign as the cool female voice repeated the instructions to look at the camera and the countdown, followed by the cheerful command to smile.

The flash popped again and Arthur and Alfred scrambled to think of another pose. By the time the automated female voice returned, they still had nothing.

"Three, two, one: Smile!"

In the blink of an eye, Alfred turned his head to kiss Arthur's cheek.

"ALFRED, YOU IDIOT!"

The flash popped a third time.

Arthur was flustered, but not ungrateful for the chastity of the kiss. Before the voice came on again, he rested his chin on Alfred's shoulder, smiling softly, and allowed the larger man to wrap his arm around his shoulder in a warm embrace. Outside, he could hear a couple of teenagers milling around the nearly empty arcade, discussing the various games.

"Three, two, one: Smile!"

The flash popped one last time.

"Your pictures will be ready shortly."

They exited the booth and waited for their pictures. Out of the corner of his eye, he could see the two teenagers- a pair of girls- still chatting and drifting about the arcade. The strip of photos slipped out of the machine and Alfred scooped it up.

"Aww, I'm way too close to the camera in the first two shots," he moaned as they walked away.

"Hey, look! A photobooth!" Arthur heard in the distance.

"No way, I hate having my picture taken!"

He couldn't help but smile and kiss Alfred's shoulder as the walked towards the shore. Perhaps there was something to be said about photobooths.

A/N: Ah~ It's good to be kind-of writin again~! Mmm...why is it that I'm the only one who ever wants to do photobooths? Please review?
