He sat by the fire watching slowly as everything burned…
Everything burns
watching it all fade away
Playing ocarina watching it all fade away. His memories would slowly fade away as he grew knowing he could never go back. He played a sad melancholy tune, filled with empty, broken promises, and shattered dreams. He played, he played as everything burned, and through the distant screams, wrapping the notes in all of the promises that no one seems to keeps…
No tears left to wash away
Just diaries of empty pages
Feelings gone astray
But he will sing
Till everything burns while everyone screams
Burning their lives
Burning my dreams
All of this hate and all of this pain
Burning all down as my anger reigns
Till everything burns
The notes filled the air, carried on the wind and surrounding all the living things. The living things cried as one at the loss, loss of a mentor, a father, a teacher, a protector. The boy sat alone, watching it all fade away…
Walking trough life unnoticed
Knowing that no one cares
too consumed in their masquerade
No one sees her there
And still he sings

The flames licked hungrily at the wood eating it away, like these feelings ate as his heart. While others consoled themselves with others he was in the field playing, playing away his pain. All of this hate and all of this pain, was sure to take control as the tears trickled unnoticed down his innocent face. As his notes hit their climax they became desperate as he watched everything burn. And he watched the remains of his belongings, everything that reminded him of his past, fade away. It all faded away as everything burns. His life before was gone, all he could do was look forward, nothing of before that day was kept, everything burned. He took the ocarina away from his mouth to sing the last lines…

Burning all down as my anger reigns

Bringing the instrument back to his lips he plays the last embers playing across the ash that was his life. The distant screams stopped as with that his notes cut off. That night the world shook as tragic things that should not have happened, were set into motion. The world shook with the realization that nothing would ever be the same. Everything burned inside of him as he swore that he would fix things. Whether he meant himself or the world, well he didn't know that yet, but he would make it right. It was then that he became a man, amidst the burning of anger and passion, as he realized that everything burns, and everything dies, and eventually it all fades away. Stoically he stood, placing his only token, a small ocarina in his bag. He slung his sword onto his back, followed by his shield and walked towards the castle. Only two words escaped his lips as he took one last glance at his former home, "Everything Burns…" and as the wind whipped up scattering the ashes across the land, he marched into the dark abyss…
