Stay Strong
It didn't happen in slow motion like everyone always says.
Death came to me at a human pace and deep down I'm grateful for that.
I watched as Shikamaru got a plan together.
I watched as he struggled to move Hidan out of his circle.
I watched as he fell back exhausted.
I watched as he tried to get back up when I was in the curse once more.
And as Hidan dealt the blow that would surely kill me I only had one wish.
The wish that after my death he would stay strong,
That he would get motivation,
And fight back with all he has to live on…
Even if I never got to see it.
