Author's Notes:
Hey, guess what? Yep, that's right...I am loved. People liked my poem "Insanity", so I thought that I'd send in a few more. If you like this one, PLEASE read "Insanity" and "House of Glass" and review them. I'm considering writing a story, but I'm not sure yet. Tell me what you think, okay? This poem is about Usagi's feelings after Galaxia tells her that Mamoru was one of the first killed after she took his star seed. Or maybe it's after he broke up with her in R. I'm not sure. Please review!!
Never Again
How do you stand
The emptiness
That surrounds you
When you realize
It's loneliness
Eating at your soul?
How do you live each day
Knowing you'll never see
His face again,
Or feel the warmth of his hand?
How do you breathe each second
Realizing you've ceased to hear
His voice in your ears
Or his footsteps by your side?
Never again will you feel
His hand in yours, or the warmth
Of his breath from the secrets he spoke
Never again will you ever hear
His voice in your ear, or his footsteps
Beside you.
Never again will you see
Him by your side
Except in memories.
Never again will you look
In his eyes
Except for the ones
Engraved in your mind.
How do you stand it?
