Need You Now
SongFic Sam/Freddie
Picture perfect memories scattered all around the floor
Reachin for the phone cause I can't fight it anymore
And I wonder if I ever cross your mind
For me it happens all the time
Freddie sat on the edge of his bed; he couldn't sleep. He kept staring out the damn window wishing he weren't just a nub to her. He wished he were more, a friend… at least a friend. He wondered if she was having fun at the party at Jeanie's or if she had left, heck, did she do something she wasn't supposed to? He stared out the window wishing as his thumb moved up and down the edge of his phone.
It's a quarter after one, I'm all alone and I need you now
Said I wouldn't call but I lost all control and I need you now
And I don't know how I can do without
I just need you now
He didn't want to call her he had promised not to call either of the girls, not to them, but to himself, he had decided they needed some time to be girls without him around to be embarrassed by it.
Another shot of whiskey can't stop looking at the door
Wishing you'd come sweeping in the way you did before
And I wonder if I ever cross your mind
For me it happens all the time
She was sitting at the counter in the kitchen, everyone else had already either locked themselves in a bedroom with a member of the opposite gender or passed out, she was waiting. Sam had no idea what she was waiting for though, just that she was waiting. She had an anonomus bottle of some alcoholic fluid next to her and two cups, she was waiting for someone, but had no clue who.
It's a quarter after one, I'm a little drunk and I need you now
Said I wouldn't call but I lost all control and I need you now
And I don't know how I can do without
I just need you now
Sam was still watching the door, waiting. She liked the idea of waiting whether she was waiting alone or not is gave her a sense of pride, like she was first for something and waiting for the others to catch up. Sam knew she was a little tipsy but she was sure she wasn't drunk.
Guess I'd rather hurt than feel nothin at all
Freddie came through the door quietly, he saw immediately what he was looking for. Sam was at the counter, the island in the middle of the kitchen, she was looking at him.
It's a quarter after one I'm all alone and I need you now
Sam saw what she was waiting for, she picked up the cup in front of her and held it out for him to take. He took it and filled it with water. He gave it back to her and she drank the water. She was glad he was there, he gets her no matter how lost she becomes.
And I said I wouldn't call but I'm a little drunk and I need you now
Freddie still had out his phone, his thumb running up and done the side still, he had never let go of it the entire drive over here. Sam dug in her pocket for her phone, opened it and hit speed dial 2. Freddie's cell-phone rang and he immediately answered it, through the phone he heard Sam, Thank you, for coming to get me." Sam had her fair share of alcohol and came home with Freddie, she fell asleep in the car so he ended up carrying her into bushwell plaza. He stayed with her that night on the Shay's couch, when she woke up her was already awake with a bucket sitting in front of her.
And I don't know how I can do without
I just need you now
I just need you now
Sam was glad someone could take care of her it made her feel nice and warm, but it was soon pushed down by the nauseating feeling of peristalsis working backwards until she puked, but the good feeling returned after ward in due time. It was nice.
Ooo, baby, I need you now
