It should've never of happened. Not now. Not ever. Why did it have to happen? Why did it have to happen to her? A Bird-a-rang hit a brown painted wall. Robin was lying on his bed. Back against the head board. He was wearing a plain black T-Shirt, dark blue jeans and his mask was off. He hasn't left his room in four days, since the funeral. It happened two weeks today…
Flashback
It was a normal day for the Teen Titans. A few crooks tried their best to cause trouble and failed…miserably. Mumbo Jumbo was attempting to rob a bank (again), when (obviously) the Titans showed up.
"Aaaah, I see I have a bigger audience now"
"The only audience here is you, 'cause the only person here whose gunna see us kick your butt"
"Titans go!"
Mumbo and the Titans battled for what seemed like hours. Everyone was getting tired, but Mumbo had enough strength to hit Starfire with a pack of exploding cards.

Starfire screamed in pain as she was knocked to the ground. Cyborg hit Mumbo with is sonic cannon, Raven caught and destroyed his hat with her powers causing him to return to his non-magic self. Beast Boy helped Cyborg hold Mumbo. Robin ran over to Starfire and put her shoulder on his lap and supported her head with his left hand.

"Star! Starfire!"
"Robin?"
"Star stay awake, keep looking at me." Tears began to fill his ocean-blue eyes behind his mask. "You can't go, not yet." A tear fell.
In this world so full of fear
Full of rage and lies

In your eyes so dry your eyes
"Robin…do not cry"
"I'm not…I just have something in my eye"
"I must tell you something friend Robin"
"Shh Star don't talk, save your energy"
"No! I must tell you something before…before…"
"No! You're not going to die"

Somehow we'd make the whole world bright
I never knew that fear and hate could be so strong
All they'd leave us were these whispers in the night
But still my heart is saying we were right
Starfire couldn't hold on much longer. But she had so much to do. So much to say, and she needed to do it now.
"Robin you are my best friend. I hoped we could…we could…"
"We could what?"
"We could…be more than best friends. I have loved you every since I met you"
There's no moment I regret
Since the moment that we met
If our time has gone too fast

"I never knew you felt like that. I never knew you loved me…like I loved you"
"You mean y-"
"Yeah Star…I love you. I love you so much"
Robin lifted Starfire's head until their lips met. The kiss was their first kiss, and their last. It was filled with all the passion and love they had for one another. As their tongues explored the other's mouth, Starfire could feel the energy drain from her body. They broke apart and looked at each other.
"Thank you." Starfire said. She closed her eyes and she was gone.
"No…no no no!" shouted Robin. He cried into her neck until the Police arrived.
End Flashback
Tears began to leak slowly from Robin's eyes once more. He looked to his left and saw a picture of Starfire on his bedside table. He picked it up and looked at her. He looked up at the ceiling as if to look into the sky, and said…
"And I'm so grateful to you
I'd have lived my whole life through
