Chapter 1: Welcome to My World

The hot sun beamed into the Gryffindor dormitory windows, shining bright, yellow light into my eyes.

This did not please me.

I stood up and closed the dark red curtains and climbed back into my four-poster bed. Before I knew it, my alarm clock went of and I was going to be late for my first lesson.

"Your late Miss Williams. Take the seat next to ." Professor McGnognol was being mean to me again. She always sat me next to the people I never like. Oh well. Might as well make the bets of it.

I put my messenger bag on the table and sat down daintily. Draco sneered and scooched away from me. Why is everyone so mean to me? I put my head down on the wood table and sniffled a little.

Halfway through the lesson Draco nudged me with this elbow. I looked up at him. He stuck a note to my forhead and walked out of class.

It read: Homework: Study chapters 10-13 to transfigger small creatures.

My face turned all reddish and then I noticed the entire class was gone. Faynge Witherwood stalked over to me. Instead of a nod to me, he poured a potion all over my papers I was trying to stuff into my bag. The ink smeared and leaked through all my work. With a cough he stalked off, leaving me alone.

I sat back down and sobbed pitiful-like. I began to realize no one really liked me. Even in the magical world, where anything was possible, no one liked me. Professor McGnognol tried to comfort me, but I shook her off and ran to my dormitory.

No one understands.

When I got to my bed, a letter was on my pillow.

'Kristina Ash Johaneson Williams' was in script on the envelope in loopy green letters. I opened it and a wave of colone washed over me. It smelled like Draco Malfoy when we sat together at Transfigeration.

"Meet me beneath the Enchanted Starecase.

-Draco Malfoy"

I was barely breathing, and I rushed out of the room and into the Entrance Hall. The oak doors loomed overhead. I followed Draco's scent.

There he was, standing with his platinum blonde hair slicked back and his gray eyes stabbed into me. He pulled me close and I felt tingly all over. I closed my eyes….

But in Reality, they opened….

It was dark in the dormitory room, Phoenix was asleep in her bed, snoring a little. Isabella was sprawled all over her bed, sheets on the floor and blanket bunched up at the foot of her bed. I rolled my eyes. Some girls are just so stupid. Selena Vondrak was my best friend, and she was laying on the windowsill. She is part cat, and doesn't like beds that much. Her fluffy tail wagged in the pale moonlight and she yawned big.

I put on my lounge clothes: a big striped hoodie and black jeans. I didn't put on anything under the hoodie since no one would see (AN: heehee). I walked into the common room, and no one was there. I sat on the couch and sighed deep.

I had never really dreamt of a boy before, so I meditated for a bit, purging Draco from my head, then fell asleep. The nightmares came back.
