Bella's POV

Today was Mother's day. I told Renesmee after much pestering that I didn't want a gift. She finally said fine, but I don't really beleive her. I had bought a gift for Esme, from Edward, Renesmee and I. It was This special kind of gardening stuff and other things like that. I sent Renee's in the mail. It was a couple book's and a gift card to a restuaraunt. Nothing complex. When Renesmee woke up, she ran to Edward. That's weird. She always comes and gives me a hug. She grabbed Edward's arm and pulled him towards the car. They both got in without speaking to me at all. No one else was around. Emmett was comforting Rosalie. Today was a tough day for her. Jasper and Alice were, of course, shopping. And Calisle was working the morning shift in the hospital while Esme went to the graveyard. This time when we moved we moved to the place where Esme grew up. She spent alot of time reminiscing. She was visiting her mother's grave for the first time since she died. I thought it was nice that she could do that.

When Edward and Renesmee finally got home, they went upstairs. I unblocked my mind so Edward could hear how frustrated I was. Even from downstaris I could hear him chuckling.

Twenty mintutes later the whole family managed to gather in the living room. Jasper, no surprise there, had the video camera, a job that had become his. Emmett and Rosalie sat on the couch and put the present for Esme on the unused coffee table. Alice was jumping around with more excitment than usual; no surprise there, I just didn't think it was possible. Carlisle and Esme sat on the other couch and looked at the tv. Edward was sitting on the end of the couch. I was laying with my head in his lap and Renesmee sat next to my feet.

That peaceful moment is when Alice burst.

"OK!!!! I'VE BEEN WAITING ALL MORNING! I JUST HAVE TO GIVE ESME HER GIFT!!!" Alice practically threw the gift. Thank god Esme is a vvampire with fast reflexes. She caught right before it hit the wall.

"Sorry Esme," Alice said sheepishly.

Esme smiled kindly and began to unwrap the box. In it there was designer shoes, sunglasses and other expensive items. She said thank you to Alice and Jasper. Rosalie and Emmett gave their gift next. It was some new picture frames and art things. Esme hugged them both before Renesmee ran to her with the gift Edward and I purchased. Esme opened it and said thank you and soon Renesmee looked at me excitedly.

"Mommy, I know you didn't want anything, but I didn't listen. I got you a gift." And with that I was bloind folded and pulled to the garage. When The blindfold got pulled off, inside a brand new car, was Renee. I was so overjoyed I would've cried if I was human. I ran (at human speed) towards my mother and hugged her.

"Happy Mother's Day Mom!" I squeled. I was so happy she was here.

I turned to Renesmee, who was smiling smugly. "Thank you so much Nessie!" I ran over and hugged her. Then I looked up at Edward.

"There is no way she could've done that by herself." I said. I reached up and kissed him on the lips. "Thank you."

This was the best Mother's Day a mother could ask for.
