It's Been Awhile
"Hey," Casey said, walking in the lair.
"Hey," Raph said back, with a nod, listening to music through his headphones.
Casey walked over to where the redhead was lying on the couch. He glanced around the lair, not seeing anyone else.
"Where's everyone?" he asked.
Raphael shrugged his shoulders with his eyes closed. Casey grumbled then dropped back to sit on the couch. Raph's legs quickly folded in half before his lover sat on them.
"So you have no idea where anyone is?" he asked again.
Raph sighed, pulling of his headphones.
"Why do you want to know?" he asked.
Casey shrugged then lifted up a plastic bag that he brought in with him.
"Donnie asked me to bring this old radio in for him to play with," Casey said.
"Well, him and Mikey went on a date. Something about five months," Raph said.
"Five months?" Casey asked, looking confused.
"Yeah, Mikey kept bouncing around, saying Donnie was taking him on an anniversary date or something," Raph said, tiredly.
Casey put two and two together and quickly came up with the answer.
"So Donnie and Mikey have been doing it for five months?" he asked, scratching his head.
Golden eyes focused in on the other man with a glare.
"Yeah, and Mikey bugged Donnie into taking him out on a date up above," he muttered, then put his headphones back on, closing his eyes.
Casey blinked at his lover. What's with the attitude? he thought. Then he thought some more.
"How long have we been together?" he asked.
Raphael shrugged, not opening his eyes.
"Do I look like a woman to you? I don't keep track of stupid stuff like that," he muttered, seemingly unconcerned, while crossing his arms.
Casey paused, studied his lover's body closely, noticing the slight fidgeting on the other man's face. A sly smirk slowly grew on his face.
"Someone's not telling the truth," Casey said, in a singsong voice.
Golden eyes once again set a glare towards dark blue eyes.
"Like hell I'm not telling the truth," Raphael spat angrily. Casey didn't let it falter his smirk, as he slowly crawled up his lover's stiff body.
"I can tell, ya' know? I can tell when you're being a big liar. And I can tell you're being a big liar now," he said, slyly and stopped when he was face-to-face to Raph, who's glare hadn't falter either.
Raph stayed silent, mouth in a straight line. Casey snickered and leaned in and nuzzled his lover.
"C'mon, tell me. You have been keeping track, haven't you?" Casey whispered, then nipped the redhead's studded ear.
Raphael huffed and turned his head away, trying not to squirm away altogether.
"Maybe…" he simply muttered.
Casey chuckled lovingly in the other's ear, placing gently kisses along the side of Raph's neck.
"So how long have we been together?" he asked, moving back up to nuzzle Raphael's ear, his hand now creeping up the redhead's side.
"Nearly…" Raph gasped. "N-nearly two years," he finished in a whisper.
Casey pulled back, his eyes wide with surprise.
"Wow, really? That's a long time," he said, staring down at his lover's brightly blushing face.
Raphael raised an eyebrow at Casey and slowly nodded his head.
"Yeah, I guess so…" he said, quietly.
Casey stayed quiet and still, running this new fact around in his mind. Then a goofy grin appeared on his face.
"So when's our anniversary?" he asked happily.
